If you enjoyed this you might be interested to hear the wonderful news that, after 40 years, Cressida are reforming for a reunion gig in London in December 2011. See their website for details and tickets. (If I enter it here, YouTube won't let me post the comment, but it sounds like cressida hyphen group then a dot then co then a dot and then uk.
Why don't they make music like this anymore and what about the cover of this album.........smashing! Can anybody tell me where this pic was taken for the cover album and the reason behind it, it has haunted me for years!!
Wow, it's so wonderful to see so much interest in Cressida. I was married to John Heyworth, the lead guitarist of Cressida on their first album, but he wrote some of the songs on the Asylum album, too. Unfortunately, John died this past January. He was in touch with the other members of the band; they were planning a reunion, which won't be happening with John. Our son, Iain MacAonghais-Heyworth, is also a guitarist; he inherited all of his father's guitars and equipment.
Wow! Never heard of this band before, I must admit that! I'm extremely impressed! Fanstatic guitar and hammond... Looking forward to eplore this band some more!
