my problem with turbos is i always seem to be so card dead. then when icm kicks in, i don't have enough fold eqiuty to pick up any blinds. i'm gonna start seeing more hands early on for cheap, if i can, because that whole 'playing only premiums' in the early stages dosen't work, especially in turbos; as outlined by our beloved instructor, here. (especially now since the new bodog r n g only deals a high card and a low card....lol). just kidding....sort of...
i think u should be shoving 77 on that blind vsd blind situation cuz it looks wierd if u dont , my reasons for shoving here are simple, ur on the bubble , u dont wanna half to see a knarly flop and make a cont bet in pos and have to fold wit
stack sizes u have 17 hundreed chips before u even get to make a cbet , also he is a loose player with a stack so he will call if u only 3x him and most the time u will have all sorts of over on the flop .u end up shippin QK utg with 1700 , so yeah
you really need to work on your shove fold game. you cant expect to take pots down with c bets with like 14 bbs. I mean completing 3 8 suited come on.
solid video, 77 shoulda shoved though, and your read on Stony Solid was dead wrong about being tight, as seen by him calling you with Q9s and shoving with 96 s. clearly a semi-bluff before, bad fold with the 9 3. decent basic strategy though imo
Most of what’s said in this video is great, but what do you do in the long run, if you don’t run like a God like this guy?

In order for this strategy to pay off you need lots of luck because every hand, that he won was when he had the best hand. I mean i get the strategy, but if you get in with the best hand and lose... I wish i knew how to play fool proof poker.
Maybe im agressive but the 77 hand in the SB with 11 bb left seems like a clear Shove..you bet 600 and got a good flop of course to C BET with but what if you got a bad flop? straight shove for me
I've been playing alot sng's at pkr and i went almost allways at top 4, using a very passive style. I set to myself that i would try out your tactic, and BANG first place.. totally owned everyone at the table. Also won the heads up with AA against a very loose player who went in with K7.
O.k nevermind I went back to video oner and heard him say it was a 6 dollar buyin not a fifty cent buyin. Dont know why it says .50 in the top left corner but nevertheless 6 dollars is still just as pathetic!!!!
o.k someone has to explain to me why it says .50 buyin in the top left corner and the when he finally loses in seconmd place he gets crdited with 16.20. How do you make $16.20 off a fifty cent buyin????? I dont play at fulltilt but wiith those odds maybe I should.
when you register for any sitngo or tournament you can always see the buyin in the first place and the rake (which does not enter the price pool) in the second place, just like this: $6 + $0,50
completly agree with you totally weak play onm his part. He was too busy talking with his head up his ass to see the pot odds. This guy is a joke did anyone notice he was playing a fifty cent buy in ? now that is funny. I cant wait untill i upload some real videos of me playing 100 dollar buyin sitngos where the men are.
i recognized that gnome was very active and was just dying to give his chips away pretty early in....also he kept changing his emotion which is another usual sign of someone just looking to get their money in with any 60 40....with that being said I probably would have held my breath and called with the top pair no kicker, but it wasn't a horrible fold or anything...it was very marginal.
this was painful to watch, you talk about not stacking off for 10 bbs (8 min) right after you talk about limping in for value when you make hands on a flop when you have 10 bb? good god
Automatic call with the top pair open ender, kinda bad fold, if he would have a over pair he would for sure check raise the turn since you reraise the flop.
everyone who says that he should have called the 93 is a total idiot. it was very likely the other guy had two pair. He is only beating a semibluff which was rather unlikely considering the pot size. nice laydown even though u were ahead.
Completing a 8x stack w/ 83s HU OTB is atrocious. It's a shove or fold. And w/ BB being loose, it's probably a fold, but one of the few suited hands I would openfold there.
Planning to complete a 10x stack w/ QJ in the SB is atrocious. If OTB had folded, that would be an easy, obvious shove.
The 93 is a call, and I was thinking as much before he showed his hand.
Openshove the 77 in the SB w/ 11x stack.
The Q9s call is not standard and not 'unusual'. A good player's range to shove OTB w/ a 7x-8x stack is like top 40% of hands, at narrowest, so Q9s is pretty easy call against that range, getting that price
u know whats funny is people are saying you shoulda called with the pair 9 and a 3 kick bu its obvious that with the mans quick call he was weak with a middle pair or so and im pretty sure he got two pair on the turn with you leading out again that gave him the thought that you had a 9 with a good kicker good enough to call his allin i really doubt that guy was bluffing
lol at a $5 stt grinder making instruction videos. I make my living playing nl stts and plo/nl cash and I cannot stop laughing at how many mistakes you made during this video and others (specifically your plo videos).
he fold the 9 3 because he has too much respect for those DONKS . This is ugly to call the flop with second pair and push all in on the turn. Thats a DONK move and if your not a donk, maybe you just push all in on the flop with the 9 3 because you dont want to be called and have a headacke.
He folded the 93 hand because he had a note on the guy that he was tight. I thought he played it well really especially considering he was on the bubble.
i dont agree with the 93os fold when he had top pair and a strait draw, but it was a decent laydown until the other guy showed his cards. Many hands could of had him such as a high pair trap, so it was a decent read until the other guy flipped over a semi-bluff.
you played it way too tight! your a pussy and your playing for 6$ a fool bluffed on you when u had top pair and a straight draw. get good stop making clips on telling people how to play
Blinds were way too high there and heads up more then a 4 to 1 dog he should be shoving just about any 2 cards. because even a double up he will still have to get really lucky to win! I have seen it happen and I have done it it is really hard and if you are not willing to play any 2 there then the blinds will eat you alive and you might as well sit out!
my problem with turbos is i always seem to be so card dead. then when icm kicks in, i don't have enough fold eqiuty to pick up any blinds. i'm gonna start seeing more hands early on for cheap, if i can, because that whole 'playing only premiums' in the early stages dosen't work, especially in turbos; as outlined by our beloved instructor, here.
