  • Ralph, you are amazing! Take note all teachers... Instructions should be sung!

  • Brilliant. Just brilliant!

  • @thepaulleslie Ralph has a blog article that includes the words to the song. YouTube doesn't seem to allow links, but you can find it by querying

  • man i didnt understeand anithing you said cause your accent but i doesnt matter im making one for my mandolin with the box it came in :)

  • The uke case is completed and currently contains my tenor uke. A second case made almost entirely of papier mache followed for my soprano. Decorated with newsprint clippings and pictures from the day that I finished it, it is my favourite. A third case is currently under construction for my daughter's uke which will be decorated with butterflies. ( It would, as Ralph states, be far cheaper to buy a case, but where's the fun in that?)

P.S. I now use a stainless steel teapot.

  • Genius!

  • Guess what? I am making my very own Ukulele Case following these instructions. It's not easy but so far so good. I love hot glue. How I'm going to fit the lid is causing me some grief but I'll figure it out.

I would have finished sooner but, being English, I just can't stop taking those all important tea breaks that Ralph sings about. And yes, tea is better from a brown china pot.

  • @thetootsietim did you ever finish the ukulele case?

  • Great stuff - are you coming to the ceilidh this year?

  • :) GREAT!!!!
