I used to watch this serial wen i was a kid...but even i dont know why they discontinued it after sometime...and none of the channel has repeated this show in future on there respective channels..while many old doordarshan serials are still being repeated on various other channels but no channel has taken an iniative to show bible ki kahaniya..

@TheNemanja20 how will they? Its sad, that in the land of India, where Christians are just 2.3% and declining, there is absolutely no body to take this initiative to do "Bible ki Kahaniyan" again. I remember this serial vividly, even though i used to go to church in Bombay, back in the 90's, this music is still my favorite one and so was the cast. Kabir Bedi, Deepa Saahi, and the likes of other top actors worked on this serial. The best cast so far! To hell with Muslims! Its indeed sad! God Bles

robinklove, no, the Hindus were in no way opposed ro the serial--there is no media proof of such a claim. But Muslims opposition was once quoted by the media as one of the causes of opposition. However I do not mean that this was the only cause of discontinuation. I think the main cause was internal problems of the production team and mony issues.

Dont provide wrong information...muslims have some opposition but the serial was discontinued due to the unrest of majority as many were getting influenced by this series..
