This has to be my favorite cover. I like the way this version is set at a faster pace than the original. He's got some gravel in his voice, just like the way Bruce sings it. Nice blend of individuality while still sticking close to the original.

On second hearing this gets better. The vocals are rich and the accordion echoes Danny so strongly. These folks are truly enjoying the song. I was so happy to hear this in Vancouver at the D&D show. The almost split-screen vids interlaced with boardwalk shots give it a rich carnival flavour. A delight!

Jason Hi if you get to read this its John Gorski from the old record store at the Flemington, N.J. mall I always remember you & your Grandma coming into the store she would always be buying Bruce stuff to give away she was a great lady. This version of Sandy is awesome a great tribute to your Dad. I lost my Dad that same year around the same time. Keep up the great work!
