@smokesta14 If you want to take Flatland seriously then go for a flatland bike, especially the frame and back free coaster hub, all though it's expensive and a lot of people give it up easily because it's an extremely hard sport, leaving a perfectly good bike to go to waist, so maybe just get a cheapest street bmx for now untill you know flatlanding is for you. hope all goes well.

It all looks the same to an untrained eye. One who doesn't actually do flatland BMX wouldn't understand what different tricks and moves they're doing. There are a basic set of tricks in flatland bmx, and then there's room for ones own combos and moves.

The same applies to a lot of different sports and hobbies. Skateboarding, Ice skating, yoyoing, etc.
