  • watching this video makes wanna visit india and visit all these temples... their architecture is so amazing.. i love it...

  • Hindu temples are just marvellous..!

  • Very interasting! Have u been Korea temple? It also very nice. I just filmed and uploaded movie.. ;)

  • at 2:02 it looks like a sci-fi space ship instead of a temple.

    Simply beautiful!

  • SANSKRIT MOST SCIENTIFIC LANGUAGE

  • beautifully crafted temples and the reliefs and sculptures on some of them, well outstanding springs to mind good post

  • centuries? more like millenia!

  • thats weird how they make a statue then worship it

  • @FraterAeternus93 It's not the statue but what it represents.

  • Hinduism achieved the height long before when in all other part of world, people were still barbaric and uncivilized. India has been the center of knowledge and the only center of Spirituality. It has been in slavery for about 1000 years, and survived against all odds. In last decades India again taken the path of glory with astonishing development and extraordinary growth of technology.

  • @ARVIND276 absolutely right.we have to revive the ancient Indian glory again.!the glorious 'Bharata Varsha'.

  • i dont know much about hinduism being white christian from canada..it is how i was raised from a baby..but from the little i know ..your religion is beutiful and your temples are built with so much love..I LOVE THE THOUGHT OF OTHER RELIGIONS BASED ON TOLERANCE..I wish peace and love to you in this life and the next..

  • @danakulchyski thank u for ur kind words towards hinduism n hindu people . we love u too

  • @danakulchyski you can also follow hinduism... Just believe in Karma.

  • Even if you don't follow Hinduism these temples are truly beautiful.

  • Yet another fine example of the work left behind by an unidentified advanced civilization. One can only wonder the true age of these temples given their close similarity to those found throughout Central America, Mexico, Middle East, etc. Their intricacy and detail show building techniques that are unknown to us. Beautiful design all around. Would not be surprised if their layout is astronomical. Great video.

  • How old are these temples?

  • @fabtastic2 It depends. The oldest still existing stone facade temple was erected in Brihadeshswar around 800 AD. Others like the Somnath and the first Jagannath temples were probably older. Most of the temples depicted in this video were built between the 10th and 14th centuries. Of course, With most Northern temples torn down by the Muslims in the middle ages, accurate analysis of temple architecture and construction is difficult.

  • wow.......I can believe it, so beautiful....love it so much!!!

  • Iam truely feeling Proud of it!!!...

But Yaa.. It is unfair to let it go unnoticeble to the world!!!...

  • holy hell.... why dont these temples rank in the wonders of the world? the design is so intricate on a large scale and everything..

  • All of the major religions of the world took their ideas from Hinduism.

The problem is that they could not get their heads around the whole concept of Hinduism, which is very deep. They left out the bits they could not uinderstand (like tantrism, sexual practices-kama sutra, etc.

which has caused problems in those religions with fundamentalism. Hinduism is not a religion.... it is a way of life(see the Vedas).

  • @alpspitz1 The different cultures of the world shape the way religions develop.

  • @alpspitz1

not just way of life but also a beautiful religion that evolved from the Vedas..Hinduism has core beliefs, traditions, rituals for marriage, birth and death, festivals of religious significance, pilgrimmages, individual and communal prayers..all features of a religion..Hinduism however is not organzed like Islam & Christianity and does not hv an aggressive conversion program..that has not stopped it from spreading though..Hinduism spread by induction as far as Bali.

  • Please tell me the temple name @ 2:00, I have lots of pictures of these types of temples but no names :(

  • @porkinmycorkhole Thank you for your question! The temple is the Rajarani Temple at Bhubaneshvara, ca. 1100 AD.

  • Incredible!

  • Thank you.

  • wha temple is dat??

  • Hinduism is one of the most beautiful religions of the world! So peaceful and all enveloping! Jai Shiv!!

  • it means good luck man

  • Yep, like KoneAngkor and Joshryker said, the Swastika never belonged to the Nazis. It's part of Hinduism for thousands of years, before German society. According to some, it symbolizes the Kaalachakra or the 'wheel of time'.

  • The Nazis deliberately chose one of the most ancient symbols of the human race (curiously used by cultures as far-flung as Native American tribes, Celts and Hindus) to pervert and distort its original intent as an icon of their new world order. Kind of clever of them actually. Listen to KoneAngkor. Check out Wikipedia, or any other work of comparative religion or cultural anthropology. You'll learn a lot.

  • @joshryker Yeah from what I understand there's a movement to take those images back, Celt and Norse pagans are having difficulty because there are still Neo-Nazis around pretending to be pagan as a cover for their Nazism while they promote extremely distorted and racist propaganda under the guise of a religion.

  • the swastika is more than just a Nazi logo. it has just been stigmatized by the Nazi's use of it. look it up on wikipedia, they give a lot of info on the origins, history, usage, etc.
