I don't object to what I see; I object to the exercise, and that a teacher that took the craft seriously would impose it on anyone (unless they are trying to prove what Roger Ebert described in his review of Gus Van Sant's shot-for-shot remake of 'Psycho' (1998)).
If he or she is oblivious to what is described there (or knows it, and is either perplexed by it, or is resistant to it), I suppose the adage, 'those who can DO, and those who can't TEACH,' is genuinely true.
@PyromaniacStudios If you are ever brave enough to share what I've said with said teacher, or this teacher happens to come across this in the near or distant future, I am all too happy to take 100% of the grief.
