The driver of the white van is a moron for staying next to the truck in his blind spot. He could get a ticket for that. The van should speed up and get in front of the truck or follow the truck. Also, legally, the left lane is for passing so he has no business driving slow there. Must be some old guy driving, they often do things like that to slow everyone else down.

Trucker dont do this on purpose. Most large trucks are speed limited (usually 65mph).Blame this one on stupid people that can't drive, or too old.

@kmbkb no we don't it pisses us off too the companies govern the trucks speed and when it is only 1 mile an hour difference or one has a heavy load and the other doesn't certain rookies don't know enough to back out of the throttle and let the one that is passing go I apologize that we have some idiots in our industry but there are more in four wheelers that do this I do have over 4 million miles driving and have seen a lot hope you are helped by this .

Actually honking at them never works. I have tried that. In TX there are MANY signs that state in large letters, "Slower traffic keep right" and "Left lane for passing only" and there are still TONS of people like the idiot in the van that will not move.

Getting right up behind them and holding the horn doesn't work all the time Nitro911tomany. I've seen the outcome of some of those that have failed. One of my friends tried that and the car slammed on the breaks causing my friend to rearend him... and my friend was the one that got into trouble.
