I did some video testing as well... and so far I like what I see... cool camera!

You can, the sound appears to drop out though.

@AzzX it's a setting that you can change. under menu, in camera mode, turn on the microphone option for zooming. the only downside to it is that it also will record the sound of the lens zooming, and then focusing.
