@Vovk3 here in North America they are called Bison or Buffalo it makes no difference they are both valid names. Not many people out here call them Bison not even the natives.

Here in North America, it's nothing more than a misconception. European settlers called them buffalo because they somewhat resemble buffalo. They are two entirely different species that should not be confused.

Head smashed in Buffalo jump , another place that got its name from the animal and other various North American locations bearing the name. Both names are legit in North America however buffalo which is not the same as African buffalo but we are not calling North American buffalo "Cape or Water" buffalo. We have woodland buffalo and plains buffalo. Or just simply "Buffalo" whats the big deal?

@2JAMMY You are right. This isn't the full clip, it was on When Animals Attack. But...he was trying to get a closer look (I dont know why, stupid). So the dust kicking up is the Bison. The Bison was chasing him around the tree. He actually got tossed up quite a few times. He had some broken bones but he was okay.
I'd never get that close to anything larger than me. People are dumb

Why do people walk up on these animals? If this bull is scraping the ground, it's a way of telling you to back off. City people, read a book before gong into the wild places, it will be a lot less painful if you recognize the animals warning and stay away. Love the way the other poeple leap into action to help the guy. There all looking through their cameras like "wow, that was cool".
