if ur a gamer and ur looking for a TV in ur room, either put up a desk with a 22" ViewSonic Monitor with a chair (up close) because it's creates less lag and its more suitable for FPS shooting games. but if u want to go a bit bigger, generally for a room, u want a 32in anything bigger might not be too good. for 32in the sharp aquos is the best....

lol a computer monitor 30" usually comes with a 2560x1600 resolution which is much higher than 1080p, so it's fine.

There's a very big difference between 720p and 1080p, even on that size. The difference between 1366x768 and 1920x1080 is HUGE, and it's easily noticeable, especially if you're using a computer with it or watching HD content.

Are you kidding? You can feel a major difference on a 16" screen between those resolution sizes! You can always easily tell the difference between a higher resolution and a lower resolution, with the higher resolution usually looking better to you (unless you have poor vision and need a lower res)

Well that depends on what you're looking at. If you were to use it in 1080p and then use it in 720p, you'll see that the screen gets more blurry and stuff aren't as sharp. It's not that hard to notice at all, especially if you were working with a computer.

Only the D64 series of Aquos can do 1080p with the 32in tv. I think you can't have a better picture quality since the resolution is 1920x1080, the pixels are much smaller than a 42 or 52 in. Samsung is also making a 1080p 32in with their new series (called "7" i think) but i decide to go with Sharp cause they are where the first one to introduce LCD for tv and aslo cause the D64 series is one of the first to do 1080p with componant cables, and not only HDMI. Probably the best 32in ever :P!!!!

1080p for a 32 inch TV is not pointless if you are using it for your computer. You have to sit closer to a computer monitor then a TV, so 1080p is the way to go.

What is the response time on your tv ? 8 ms or 4ms or 2 ms .

I may buy an Lcd but with an 8 ms response time I will get a blurry picture when something moves fast on screen. Sonys Bravia 40" lcd 1080p Hd -Tv KDL40V3000 $1699 Cnd has an 8ms response time as did the XBR series. They make very LCD but why such a slow reponse time on a $3000 TV 40" + ?

Yes 6ms is good and so is 4ms. I also found you may need 120mhz for a clear moving picture along with a fast Ms. A sharp 52" has this but it goes for a cool $ 2799 Cnd. Too big for my room. Need 37 to 42. Gaming is great in full HD !!!!!!

you got a 720p tv set .... 1080p is crisper and way sharper than 720p , your tv is just unable to do 1080 lines and must convert that signal to 720 that's why it seems crisper in 720p with your tv set.

The difference between 720p and 1080 is huge my friend. When i'm in 720p on my desktop, all become ugly because the native resolution of my TV is 1920x1080...so 1080p Full HD. When i keep this native resolution, everyting is clean and beautiful.
