this is almost the same as how she's been performing it at her concerts for nearly 3 years.

she misses out words during the first verse for crowd participation.

PLUS, has anyone ever tried to just sit and sing this song the whole way through?

the vocals are continuous without ANY pauses.

it's hard to do it sitting down, so imagine what it would be like on stage, after you hadn't performed for months?

I know it seems like i'm making excuses but i'm not... circumstances dictate.

I actually think she neither forgot the lyrics nor did she improvise, it's just that a huge crowd or steaming hot lights can steal your breath every once and then...

Performing on a stage and even running around or dancing while singing is nearly impossible, since you don't get your breath under control...

This performance (if it is not edited) is already an intense proof of her talent, since no one can actually sing this well without losing words or breath.

i would agree that it's difficult up there on the stage -i can speak of myself, but also most musicians can confirm that, especially those of lower 'resonance'.

But, stars like Rihanna, Beyonce and so on, of that caliber, are 'trained' to perform on these conditions..in sweat, tension, dance and rhythm.. so having these monsters to compare, i think this performance in London is a mild one..

come on, first of all it's not hard to imagine, and also not impossible to happen. But seriously, haven't you seen all those documentaries about Beyonce's, Madonna's and so on, world tours.. they do all day rehearsals, every day, especially for the choreographies... the singing part in those performances is almost secondary.. the show is more important than the singing detail.. we talk about pop superstars, no? (not to mention any technical assistance they get from the console)
