  • Yes, he is making that high-pitched sound.

  • looks like a "sardinian singer"..

  • His name is Enkh Jargal. He's one of mongolia's best overtone singers, and probably the most famous.

He's also an amazing Morin Khuur player. Check him out playing "Two Homes": /watch?v=HwANedEkqaY

  • whats the name of the song he is singing?

  • whats the name of the song he is singing?

  • this guy us high. as fuck.

  • This is a song or xD

I knew it was silly world, but not so much, lol

  • this fuckin rocks

  • SCARY!!

  • Sorry I do not know

  • i love him

  • is he making that high pitched sound around 1:30 in the video?

  • @locke20 yes

  • @locke20 It is the singer who cracks the recording . The enregistrating programm does not believe in highly redundant throat sounds .

  • @locke20 They are called overtones :)

  • @locke20 he is actually making that sound, called an overtone, for most of the video. listen very carefully!

  • Please can anyone tell me what the name of the song id that he is singing? I really like that song I want to see if I can find it.

  • The shit poor quality of the video (the non-stop skipping) ruined the entire feel of the video.

  • he was like elvis in mongolia

  • This instrument is a Morinkur

  • @unclebuckshot Morin Khuur

  • How is the instrument calls he plays?

  • @MartinaBC1963 the Morin Kuur, or Horse Fiddle

  • thats music of TURAN!... ancestors of all Turic(Mongols-Turks) people..

  • Tuvan, and they are not ancestors of all Turk/mongols but they are indigenous to the area.. have lived there for thousands of years.

  • Ofc not all Turks and Mongols...

its called Turic people... it includes many many diffrent types but all are related with each...

for ex. in Turkish we call them Tuvan Turks.... it doesnt matter that much its all the same.... Mongol Turkmen Kirghiz Kazakh Tatar Uzbek Yakut... All of these called TURIC, at least we Turic ppl call ourself Turic, why it disturbs you? Are you Turic?

  • the name Turic does not disturb me what bothers me is that there is no mention anywhere of it that I can find, in the english language that is. it may be a local name a cultural thing you go by, but scientifically there is no classification of people by that that I know of. But I do like to study the ancestry of people and cultures. It is a hobby of mine.

  • and also back in the 1800s they used the term Turan to refer to the people who spoke Turkic, Ugric , Uralic , and even the Dravidian people. so while they have had some influence on the culture they are not the ancestors of all the people.

  • Now Turan is an Iranian name of the peoples descending from the Persians, but they are not the complete ancestors of all the turk-mongol peoples. The proper English name for these people is Turanian

  • Turanians of the Shahnameh have no relationship with the ancient turkish culture

  • I like that you are talking with your scientifically knowledge.. the thing i tried to tell you is between Turic people or Turanian... i would like to share anything that i know with you, also you share with me.

btw what are your racial Roots?(Dont take it offensive i just wonder if your Roots belongs to middle asia cuz u know about it.. so nothing racist)

  • @fiernocht

Why ? Are they different ?

    Didnt even know that Shahnameh

    includes Turanian Ideas !

    TTK

    AIDO

  • I love how he can make the camera's mic spaz out.

  • Ancient Mongorian secret!

  • its soo strange but its really kool .

    its beautiful music!~

  • 1:25 and on is unreal.

  • Couid you please show me that I can practice by myself or I really need a tutor? Is it possible for teenager to sing this kind of low voice???

  • it took me two months to learn it, and i learned it just from watching youtube videos, that was about a year ago, and i'd like to say im pretty good now

  • sure it is, there are some tutorial videos on here just look for Tuvan throat singing or overtone singing

  • I love the horse fiddle

  • I heard this done live in Mongolia while there what an awsome sound

  • i cant tell if my computer is messing up or is there some kind of skipping effect on the video. if this is an effect it is horrible and ruined the visual aspect of this video.

  • yea there's a skipping to the video for some reason, but I'm just listening to it, so it's all good.

  • wow this

    is freakin awesome!!!!

    very nice instrument too!!!!

awesome throught singing it was amazing !!!!

  • Bar Akka I say!!! hehehe

    Excellent music, good singer~!

    I need to send this

to my brother in Haifa :)

  • This guy nailed it good. He sounded like a hybrid of a piccolo and a bagpipe. 5/5 Stars. He is uncommonly good for this traditional Genre of Tuvan Cello.
