the name Turic does not disturb me what bothers me is that there is no mention anywhere of it that I can find, in the english language that is. it may be a local name a cultural thing you go by, but scientifically there is no classification of people by that that I know of. But I do like to study the ancestry of people and cultures. It is a hobby of mine.

and also back in the 1800s they used the term Turan to refer to the people who spoke Turkic, Ugric , Uralic , and even the Dravidian people. so while they have had some influence on the culture they are not the ancestors of all the people.
