I found it on finnish net store. And it says it has been released 2006-04-19.. but maybe this 'new' version has some extra things, who knows! (even tho it is an old movie.)
I read the book and searched you tube for this movie, its very sad and a bit depressing, life can be so cruel when you just dont fit in..I reckon Judith should of become a nun that was her calling and she would have had a better life,,rather than a lonely drunk..sad
one of the most realistic crying scenes ever. Isn't it so much better than the fake crap one usually sees in films? When people cry they are shaky and sniffling and red. Just like Maggie in this scene.
The book by Brian Moore is an underrated classic too - and easier to get hold of than the film (unfortunately, because the film looks like it deserves a lot more attention). But definitely read the book, if you haven't.
Love Maggie in this! it's just.. WOW!
Does anybody know where I could find the whole movie?

It is a great performance, very realistic, but Maggie's creme de la creme of performances has to be as Miss Jean Brodie...

Maggs was my favourite actress as a girl. I needn't explain why.
She's even more powerful here, emotionally, than she was playing her signature role, Jean Brodie.

Wow! That was intense. I knew Maggie Smith was more than her role in the Harry Potter films, but this clip was so true and intense. Incredible!
