Actually half the time when I'm building I'm thinking about something else, listening to books on tape or music or etc, this would be way less desirable than just being able to go on autopilot..

The control interface isnt an obstacle when building stuff, its transmuting your ideas into 3d with a very limited toolset. But yeah the interface to that toolset is fine..

dude that is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Pretty soon, when we get good with this tech, we'll be able to use it in Robotics so that the average person will be able to see inside of their own stomachs, and then we will know how corn really survives the acid and makes it to your poo.

Lets see, some chest pounding about the "the real life" being totally important to people who are paralyzed and can not EVEN FUCKING MOVE AND HAVE NO WAY TO INTERRACT WITH THE WORLD. No shit he would like to join "teh real world" california. It is technology like this that will help him. Being able to control and interract with people in a virtual world is the first step.
