I saw them two weeks later at the Omni in Atlanta 1987. Most of the crowd didnt even know who GNR was. Very bar-like performance. A year later and we couldnt get enough of it. "Motley who?"

I was at this show, mainly to see Guns, but most of the audience didn't know their music. I think the concert was in October or November, and Apetite just came out in July. I do remember thinking that Axl was pissed at the crowd response because at the end of their set, he slammed down his microphone and walked off stage. Later I realized that that was just classic Axl.

I was there, backstage and catering. I was in the dressing room when Steven Adler came in bitching about Axel looking for a new drummer. Supposedly Axel was to meet with a possible replacement when they got to Atlanta a few days later. It was surreal to say the least.

Appetite , Gn'R lies , use your illusion 1 and 2 are all great albums in my opinion , spaghetti incident .. not that good cuz it's only covers ... so they have moore than one good album
