  • grande roger¡¡¡¡

  • 13:40 : YEEES ( he came )

  • love federers reaction <3

  • if federer could play like this in every game he would be no. 1 in no time

  • Fedex gonna be No.1 again!

  • Great highlight reel of one of my favorite Federer matches EVER!

  • 09:15 The greatest defense shot I have ever seen in my life

  • Djokovic is the only player who claps for his opponents. Federer will not show any emotion and Nadal sometimes says too good. Murray might say yeah or too good once in a while. Players should express some sportsmenship when a spectacular shot is hit. On the other hand the top 4 players in the world do that every other point so...

  • Best match of the year!!

  • Roger is the best ever.

  • what an awful crowd. thank god federer only fluked this tournament once. even the commentators were in his pocket.

  • @MIMIC8801 lolol fluked

  • Comment removed

  • Never have I seen Federer looks so competitive during the recent 2 years or so. Even in the ATP Finals of 2011, after he's beaten Nadal 6-0 he still appears as if that wasn't even challenging for him. Yet, he looks so alive in this match.

  • this stuff was not the best match of the year 2011. it was definetly one of the ten best of all times.

  • Djokovic is definately the most graceful player in defeat; nothing against Federer but when he lost at the US he just patted Djokovic's hand and walked off.

  • @9:43 "one of the rallies of the tournament..." it was amazing but it probably wasnt in the best five rallies in this match!

  • Ahhh Choo!

  • One of the best matches of 2011. The only match Djokovic has really lost last year...Federer played exceptionally well, but couldn't carry this level into the final. I didn't like his gesture with the index finger in the end. And of course he embraces his opponent and is talkative at the net - because he won.

  • @The8arber A lot of players are fairly talkative when they win and not so much when they lose. I think it's normal and understandable.

  • When all is said and done I think the Federer Vs Djokovic H2H series will be a more entertaining series of matches than the rest. Against Nadal Fed and Djokovic have to really grind out results, but against each other they can both more freely express their natural attacking game. love it!

  • It really pisses me off when the fucking commentators say "yes!" after their favored player makes a good shot.

  • @CathedralSW19 What? Is there something wrong with that, I guess it is just facts..? Watch WTF 2011 between Federer-Nadal and then watch Nadal´s interview afterwards.. "don´t worry, if he plays like this on other surfaces he will beat me too, that´s the truth" - Rafael Nadal. Then there is the fact that Nadal is so good at getting into Fed´s head and not allowing him to play his best, especially on slower surfaces. But Fed is the better player, no doubt. Nadal though is the better competitor.

  • 14:46 SCANDAL!

  • 9 people are blind..

  • @CathedralSW19 How is it arrogant exactly? In the Federer/Nadal dynamic, Fed MUST play well because of the problems Nadal poses for him. Tennis is pretty straightforward in the sense that if you don't play well, particularly against the best, you won't win. It's not a rude statement, just a true one. It is the same for every player on tour.

  • great, channel

  • @CathedralSW19 Wow I had to google this because it just seemed so unbelievable. Federer is an ass. Fuck that guy.

I love the way he plays tennis, but he is so full of himself.

  • @CathedralSW19 In reality, it's a rare occurrence when two players are playing their best. To say "if I play well I win, and if I'm not playing well he wins" is a pretty truthful thing to say for any sport, and especially in a sport like tennis.

  • @CathedralSW19 He's not entirely wrong though. Federer is the one who looks to dictate the play and push the pace and Nadal always tries to get him out of rhythm. It's not an arrogant thing to say. He knows he has to play extremely well to beat Nadal because it's such a bad matchup.

  • For me, this was the highest match in terms of shot-making of 2011. It is amazing how they can play at such high level.

  • best match for federer

  • such...good...quality (CRYING)

  • nobody should be allowed to dislike this video

  • 04:47 damn :D

  • Karma bit Federer in the ass with that finger wave at the end of the match with the match points in the US open

  • The anti Federer, Nadal & Djokovic comments here are ridiculous. Its not like Football, where emotions rise to another level in passion for certain clubs against their rivals. Tennis is a game of individual. I like Nadal & Federer, not so much Djokovic & Murray. But that doesn't mean I hate them. Who is the best of the 3? well lets just say, all of them are, simply because they give us awesome moments. I hope Federer plays another 5 years, because trio battle is just getting better & better

  • I fear this might be the last great match of Roger's career

  • @petitprince1 Its not :)

  • 00:47 Guga?

  • This is why they are my favorite tennis players! Truly amazing points with lots of technique! How can anyone dislike the god of tennis and the Djoker of tennis?

  • novak djokovic is the only player who claps for his opponents. i salute him

  • @fly931001 He's the best sport of all the players.

  • @TheGoldstar55 Federer is famous for his class and sportsmanship

  • @fly931001 djokovic does it very often. but he's not the only top player. i've seen berdych and tsonga clapping for federer. it's a great act of sportsmanship

  • @fly931001

you know its sarcasm sometimes right?!

  • @fly931001 but it's meant ironically, so it's pretty arrogant!

  • @fly931001 that's nothing more than a sign of arrogance

  • @fly931001 Tsonga is very fair play too! But not as good as Novak agreed :)

  • @fly931001 James Blake is also one of those players. He often says 'too good' or something like that. Blake is one of the players with the most sportmanship I believe.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Roger Federer

  • too good. hey i can do this commentating stuff

  • 13:40 SWEET JESUS from 2 meters behind the baseline...

  • @federerfan3 haha even the commentator celebrated

  • Tennis won here.

  • I wish I could like this more than once.

  • Never again...Roger-Over...Nole No1

  • @Aces2High4u I'd wait for roland garros or wimbledon or for djokovic to defend more than one of his titles before saying this

  • GOD Mode :: On

  • 6:55 -- One of the best drop shots I've ever seen. Seriously.

  • I can't wait for Roland Garros 2012 ! I've already have my tickets :p

  • Wanna see an awesome rallly?

    00:00-15:01

  • @MrPeterpan1888 Tool.

  • For all those ignorant Federer fans who always say Federer dominated this match. He won in tie breaks which were very close. Tight match could have gone either way!

  • @serbianpupil

Not to mention that Novak served to send the match into a fifth set. As a Federer fan, I would never say that Roger dominated the match, as brilliantly as he played. In fact, the French crowd willed him to victory.

  • thankyou!

  • Fed djok is always a good match.

  • This is maybe the best match i`ve seen in my 30 year of watching quality tennis

  • i realy cant believe that nole lost this match,he played shit in the 1st 2 sets and should of won the 4th.he must of realy felt the pressure, because fed played with no pressure whereas in new york with the expectation this win brought him,he let it go and nole rose from the ashes.if this match was the be repeated nole would of won in straights had it been a few months later

  • 7:09-7:25 ive never seen someone punish federer's forehand like that..

  • THIS match, was final worthy...

  • best match ever <3 !

  • remember that monment on 14:23 u will never see that again against DJOKOVIC!!! :D LET s GO NOVAK!!!

  • Comment removed

  • What does the commentator mean by "single digits"?

  • @TheGoldstar55 At 14:24 Federer raises one finger - or the "single digit", almost as if to say: "That's right. Not this time, Mother*****!"

  • @wxsty seeing Federer hit one amazing shot is more entertaining than watching Nadal and Djokovic playing a set.

  • @wxsty Exactly! Federer forces the other players to play aggressively, because they know Federer has great offensive weapons. Nadal and Murray don't really have great offensive weapons. They rely on defense. Djokovic can do both, which is why he's #1. But this is a concern, because the general trend is towards defensive baseliners in tennis. When Federer retires, get ready for a lot of boring Nadal-Djokovic finals with 30-shot rallies consisting almost entirely of counterpunching.

  • @wxsty totally agree!!! ao final was exciting due to the score and lenght, but the tennis was all the same, boring!

  • @wxsty There are many better quality, faster paced matches than the 2012 AO final and the 2012 AO semi Djokovic Murray. My personal fave is the 2005 Safin Federer AO semi. 5-7 6-5 5-7 7-6 9-7 Safin won! Not too many people beat Federer when he we was in his prime and playing close or at his best.

  • @wxsty it's federer.

  • @wxsty federer retard fan detected

  • @wxsty you're right. nadal-djokovic matches don't produce the contrast in styles that make tennis matches interesting. That's why Fed-nadal and Fed-djoko have such great rivalries..

  • @STPconditions i think its the problem of federer not holding serve against nadal. He can't ace Nadal, it always bounces up and Nadal stands 5m behind the baseline to lob a return. He should slice every serve, perhaps the surfaces are not helping today. The serve should not bounce higher than the net to make nadal uncomfortable.

  • Best game of Tennis i've watched to date.

  • this is Federer but not on his prime . .hahaha . .but still a beast.

  • 04:47 the commentator is like santa ;)

  • @kvg2895 Arrogant Federer fanatic! What's wrong with you?

  • So many haters here healing their woonds...hahaha

  • The number of views this video has talks for itself! This is the proof how much people are hungry to see novak beaten! Well, this obviously was exception, because guess what NOVAK IS THE BEST SPORTSMAN OF THE PLANET! SO ALL OF THE HATERS HEAL YOUR WOONDS HERE AND SUCK BIG DICK!

  • Federer was crazily brilliant in this game, Djokovic could only laugh it off...

I hope Federer can maintain this kind of form...

  • 5:36 look at Djokovic turn it up to 11

  • Let's not forget that Djokovic before 2011 was a pretty big mental nutcase. Federer is just as strong mentally as Novak. All this "great competitor" stuff is really just recently.

  • Comment removed

  • @petronije1001 "Recently" as in BEFORE 2011 he was not strong mentally like he is now.

  • @STPconditions Fed struggles against Rafa "when the going gets tough" in the same way that Nadal struggles against Djokovic. Why? Because Rafa holds such a big advantage over Roger in their matchup and Fed must go very far outside his comfort zone. Same thing with Rafa vs Nole - when Rafa must produce great tennis he cannot because he is uncomfortable playing offense.

  • @STPconditions That's such a stupid thing to say. If you say Fed folds against Nadal, then I guess Nadal folds against Djokovic too, right? How else would you describe the monumental collapse in the 5th set of the AO final where Nadal had Djokovic on the ropes and beat?

  • Best Match of 2011

  • Fed should start tanking these matches against Novak

  • Federer has a reliable slice shot to Djokovic which he almost 100% gets away with it. This shot open many opportunities for Federer to hurt Djokovic's game.

  • Comment removed

  • How can people dislike this? Two of the best stroke players of all time!

  • Comment removed

  • Why the crowd are always cheering for Novak's opponent's?! Can anyone answer me?

  • @MrBili3 they only cheer against Novak when he plays Federer just like in the US Open semifinal between Djokovic and Federer they wanted Federer more to win, but in the final against Nadal i think Djokovic and Nadal had equal fans. I think in this year's Australian open too lots of people from the crowd wanted Djokovic to win against Nadal. Me personally i go for Federer everytime they play, but whenever Djokovic and Nadal play each other i always go for Novak !!!

  • @MrBili3 French and American crowds love Federer much more than Djokovic. As unfair as it sounds he's seen as a much more likeable and enjoyable for the crowd. Not because he has won multiple times, but also they like to see a older Federer still fighting at the top.

  • @ArjunJethwa And he also doesn't act a like a douche and doesn't retire from matches when he is getting his ass handed to him. Federer also speaks perfect French, and if you know French people and their culture, you would know that they love when foreigners speak their language as well as Fed does. Remember that until probably 2008, the USO crowd didn't cheer for Fed as they do now. This was in some ways due to Djokovic vs Roddick incident in 2008, then Fed beat Djok in the semis.

  • commentator is sounds like he is having a sex, aaaah, oooh, yes! oh yes! loool watching Federer playing is better then sex sometimes though!

  • Australian Open Final 2012 was better

  • @davidvilla2122 24 vs 25. this 24-years-old vs 30-years-old

  • @tennissports1 age doesn't matter when your roger federer, This was a great match but i think the pure energy of the Nadal - Djokovic match was unbelievable

  • @davidvilla2122 your Roger Federer? This is Roger-Novak video. But, I also think so.

Probably, they are not in the top 3. when they 30-years-old

  • Best moment of laugh was 10:52. lol

  • If Roger played vs Rafa in semis, and Novak vs Andy, Nole would have won his first French Open title. Anyway, he will get a new and better chance this year...Vamos Nole!

  • @pennyboy140294 30-years-old player Roger Federer won

  • @pennyboy140294 I am not Roger Federer's fanatic fan. present Roger Federer declined. says correctly. After Roger Federer became a slump sick in 2008, a decline started. increase in an easy mistake. decline of footwork. The fall of concentration, etc. His present play is far from the play of his heyday. no signs? too much prejudice of your comment.

  • @cheaterNadal Don't know what to say man, they are both incredible players, and I don't think Roger is better than Novak, but because of 2004-2007, where lack of competition helped him win Majors, he will stay the best, fortunately for him, unfortunately for Nadal and Novak

  • @pennyboy140294 The time is always changing. The Roger Federer era also had much fast surface. The Sampras era had more fast surface. But, now. Present they are continuing the always same rally by ALL the surface. slow slow

  • @cheaterNadal When the surface is slower, the game is more physical and there are longer rallies. It is one of reasons tennis has become much more popular, because it's much more interesting and fun to watch. I love tennis, but if everyone played like Sampras, serve and volley, I would not watch or play tennis today.

  • @pennyboy140294 u are a retard to say that. go and watch the games federer used to win in 2004-2007. if nadal would have played him, he would have lost 6-0,6-0,6-0 in that era on hard courts. as for djokovic, he is the same age as nadal. how come he was never able to compete against him until upto now? reason - he used to suck back then !

  • @dhawal817 First of all, Nadal used to own Federer on clay, and gave Roger a hard time in Wimbledon finals 2006, 2007. Nadal beat him in 2004, forced Roger to 5 sets in Miami 2005, beat him in Dubai 2006, so don't you say Roger owned him on hard courts. As for Novak, he was young and very talented, and he beat Roger in 2007 Montreal, 2008 AO and so on. Head to head is 14-10 Federer. The only difference is that Roger won more in Novak's early days when he was still improving

  • @pennyboy140294 You are contradicting your own points now. So if Nadal beat Federer on hard courts and owned him on clay, then why do say there was lack of competition ? Also Djokovic was able to beat federer in AO and then Federer came back and beat him on numerous occasions after that.

  • @dhawal817 You said Federer would beat Nadal 6-0 6-0 6-0 and hard courts, which is completely wrong and stupid. I just wanted to show you that hard court matches between these two were very even, and Nadal won sometimes. Roger still had controll over him,but this was Rafa at a very young age. He showed that he could beat the best even as a young player on the rise. When it comes to Novak vs Roger, I never said Novak had controll over the rivalry, cause it was very even between them.

  • @pennyboy140294 Dont justify (rather undermine) federer's winning by saying he was able to win because there was serious competition. If you look at current Nadal vs. Djokovic rivalry, Djokovic has beaten Nadal on last 7 occasions - now that is called owning and lack of competition in my book !!

  • @dhawal817 Look, Federer is one of the best ever, not the best in my opinion, but that's just me. Millions wil tell me I'm wrong, but that is my opinion. Djokovic-Nadal rivalry is one of the best ever. Nadal dominated totally, but Djoko comes and turns it around, but then again now you see Rafa coming closer and closer every time. How exciting isn't this. Their rivalry is like a rollercoaster. Federer-Nadal- Nadal leading 18-9, twise as much wins as Roger...Just sayin'

  • @pennyboy140294 Considering the fact that most of their matches have been played on clay which is rafa's preferred surface, i'd say the numbers don't tell the complete story. Federer leads their head to head 7-5 when you don't account for all the matches they've played on clay. The only reason they've played so many matches on clay is because Federer is the second best clay player in the world, which is why he always makes finals and ends up losing to Nadal.

  • Everyone Federer beat in those grand slams were very competitive and I think it's disrespectful to say other. I'm sure if Fed hadn't been around a few of them would have probably because legends themselves. That's the Federer factor. Even though they were such good players, he still made it look easy.

  • @AnimeIntroStyles4 Totally !!

  • @AnimeIntroStyles4 I wasn't trying to be disrespectful, and what you say is OK, but still I don't really think you can compare Rafa, Murray, Novak to Davydenko, Roddick, Hewitt, Blake or Nalbandian.

  • @pennyboy140294 How so? Davydenko alone has a winning record against Rafa 6-4 and you want to not include him? Until the 2011 US Open Last year Nalbandian had a tied record with Rafa 2-2. And you say these people aren't comparable? Federer beat Rafa, Murray, and Novak in grand slam finals at one time or another anyway. You want to know Federer's record against Davydenko? He leads 16-2. It's all about match ups. That's why you have to beat 7 people to win a grand slam. Not 1.

  • @cheaterNadal A rookie 20yo Djokovic was already a threat to prime Federer during the 2007 US hardcourt season, beating Federer in the Rogers Cup final and also pushing him hard in the US Open final that year (Djokovic had 5 set points in the 1st set and 2 more in the 2nd set). While a 30yo Federer may not be at his physical peak, he has never depended on outrunning or outgrinding opponents. Age is not the reason why Djokovic is second only to Nadal in number of wins over Federer.

  • i cant believe i blinked in this match it was unbelievable so was Federer

  • Comment removed

  • funny how Roger's fans go only has this video to make them feel good. :))

  • @servingforthematch si pero, es mas divertido ver como los fans de rafa ven los partidos que el juega vs un roger en declive ...porque nole que es joven casi siempre le gana, jajajaaa! por cierto nole es es un gran jugador!

  • 6:57 something than Djokovic and Nadal will NEVER be able to do

  • @tommasop 6:51 Something, f.examle, Roger will never be able to do :D

  • @pennyboy140294 buahahahahaha yeah right. Such a difficult shot, yeah Roger will never be able to do it... PS: what are you smoking?

  • @tommasop Yeah right, that was 1 of 1765276547654 shots that roger can't do :D

    PS: I smoke weed :)

  • @tommasop 9:40 neither that

  • @tommasop Hit a dropshot is something Djokovic and Nadal won't be able to do? Lol whut?

  • @ArjunJethwa Correct

  • @tommasop and in 13:20 too! :)

  • @tommasop what about the autralia open final???

  • Wow thats good quality...

  • The greatest semifinal in tennis history

  • 1:59 What a point!

  • 10.45 omg fantastic defense

  • :46 djokovic applauds federer on the point. thats what i like to see with pro's, dont get pissed off when you miss a point all the time, sometimes you just gotta applaud the opponent

  • I am a huge fan of Roger Federer but I really wanted him to lose this match, lol. Why? Because me, you, Djokovic, Federer and specially Nadal knew that if Federer won, Nadal would be the champion again with no doubts... But if Djokovic went to the Final... Damn, Nadal would be in trouble.

  • On that day, Rafa was the real winner of this match...

  • If Rafa wasn't around, Roger would have at least 7 - 8 Frenchies. His clay court play is very underrated and is over shadowed by Rafa.

  • @66ott7

    i agree!

  • @66ott7 he actually can receive and beat all the flat hitters/slice hitters easy. Only Nadal who has heaviest top spin in tennis history can beat Federer. Look at Djokovic here trying to hit top spin forehand to Federer backhand but its not heavy enough.

  • 13.42: YEEES

  • He played a match like this and then went on to lose to Nadal like a bitch. THIS is why I never vote for Federer any more.

  • @Gorbisch Federer exist in this tournament just to beat d
