nice job bro! I decided to sell my sr and go for this next...found it for sale for 1100 and tranny is 600. lol I paid freakin 1650 for my complete sr swap, but the inline 6 is king to me
If your still having problems with your seat belts, Nissan will fix them under warranty for free. I had the same issue and apparently they are warrantied for the life of the vehicle.
i bought it with the swap already done but, i believe the owner before me said he paid about 4000 for everything including installation. remember, the driveshaft will have to be custom fabricated. its an awesome motor and you'll love it. but make sure that you also get a new water pump cause they're known to go out. good luck if you do it.
your 240 and mine sound totally different. mine still based on the rb25det but.. im pushing about 450hp on regular unleaded gas lol. and yea. a change of belts would have probly gotten rid of that. tighten too.
450hp...Nice! do you have any videos of it? isn't regular unleaded supposed to be avoided with the rb motor? word of advice: don't sell it like i did!
yeah. i heard that it is the timing belt making that noise or, rather, the timing belt tensioner wearing out. i never did take a look at it though. if you find out what it is let me know. even though i don't have my car anymore i'm still curious as to what it is exactly.
Nice car man! I swear I love all 240s

i hear it's got a slight whine to it...my RB25 sounds exactly the same!!
Is it a timing belt issue? I've been thinking i need to check the tension on the timing belt. Just wondering if you ever took a look at it
