Will this unit change patches via midi without that little gap of silence like some of the others do? Will the delay spill over when you change patches?
No matter how you cut it it is still 1's and o's right? It's not Electricity powered down and harnessed, it's just 1's and 0's,and I bet it gets super close, but not there.
Hi, those are Adam A5 powered monitors. The 11R requires some type of powered system (whether it's a power amp and traditional guitar cab or powered nearfield monitors, powered PA speakers, etc...). Thanks
Is Tinman the custom guitar company who made your tele? I love how you have a humbucker in the tele-style bridge. Those are the typical Fender humbuckers? I always thought those were too big to fit in that bridge. Anyway, my ultimate guitar would have the same bridge configuration, so I'm curious.
@sebawillem Tinman is a guy on The Gear Page that used to build guitars. I think he is just a tweaker, not really a professional builder or anything. That was a killer guitar, sold it and miss it. Those were Fralin P92's which are humbucker sized P90's - they are close to P90's but still have some mid range bit and fullness from a humbucker, great pickups. I think the bridge is pretty standard you should be able to get a Gotoh from GuitarFetish or something like that.
@Fear3001 The 11R offers all of the recording functionality along with the guitar processing. But I still think the AxeFX is the best in class right now. Supposedly Avid will be releasing updated firmware in Q1 next year, but they've been saying that for some time now.
i have an 11 rack, and love it! it's gaining a great community of people that can upload their sounds for you to download to your rig. The unit itself sounds great, it's all about what your running it out to!
@elliotalfaro This was an old studio desk I got from Sam Ash back in the day. I think an 88 size keyboard might be pushing it, probably only 2/3's sized to be really comfortable. Sweetwater has a lot of studio funiture they sell, might want to check them out.
Thanks for posting this video - the rack sounds amazing! For it's recording features and sounds, I think it is worth price tag, hands down. I've got one on order in part thanks to this video and some from other users as well.
To the haters/nay-sayers - post us a review of the products you are mentioning instead of just running your mouth off like child - be a man and actually do something instead of squawking like a baby.
Before you open your mouth you might want to consider how he was recording these sounds...if this sounds to you like an SM58 on monitors ( I don't see a mic up there do you?), you are an idiot.
Or does this sound direct to you, or a camera mic?
why are you so angry johnny, my god mate grow up. the 11 rack is a waste of money and sounds like shit the end. i tested it in person. testing some patches for what to show us how bad it sounds.
If my ears were crap i would buy this piece of worthless shit compadre.
It's cool, I have thick skin when it comes to my playing - I just found an opportunity and went for it ;) I think there are some good options in the 11 Rack. If you are demo'ing a GC and expecting to find something within 30 minutes or so it's not going to happen. YMMV. But, both of these units help people like me (small kids) get something that comes close.
Do you have any recording of yourself playing guitar, perhaps a Soundclick page...I'd love to hear your guitar playing skills to see if they are as good as your mouth?
I have an Axe FX on the 15 day free trial. I am concidering returning it to try the 11Rack. I find the AxeFX very capable. Not quite tube feel, but as close as I have ever found. Its also easy to tweek. Just a gas to play. so In your humble opinion. Am I wasting time trying the 11Rack? the 11 does have the nicer price and the software is included. I can afford either one, but if the sound is comparable I am no adverse to saving a couple of bucks.
So what was the main reason the AxeFX won ? More tweakable? More "stuff"? Better sound? I'm about ready to get one or the other, just not sure which one.
How does 11 rack compare from Axe FX? I haven't heard any demo (effects & amp sim) on Utube of 11 rack that sounds convincing.. this demo sounds pretty much like a PodX3 live..
Hey - so, when you put a track down in PT and play it back it sounds - well, identical to what you heard when recording? That's been an issue I've had recording - getting the track to sound like the room
Oh - nevermind. That would be your PC mic I suppose. Thanks for the vid - I'm getting mine as soon as they come in stock but I'm really wanting to hear the thing - I've spent a ton of dough on getting my home rig set (Royer, 57's and auralex) but, if the promises are delived, 11R would be actually better than a mic'd amp. So - aany vids you can post are apreciated - you are a good guitarist - one of the few that that get on here that is verstile enough to show this thing properly.

are the Adam A5s good monitors for mixing? and do they get loud?
br1videos 1 year ago
@br1videos If you need volume, I would go for their A7's. They pack a wallop and sound amazing.

Isn't the monitor too high?
Metallimeister 1 year ago
@Metallimeister The monitors are a tad bit high but when I'm sitting at my desk my chair is pretty tall so it's close enough.

Hi
I'm interested in the 11 Rack system, and the sounds you demo are great.
Quick question, how dynamic are the models? In other words, if the volume on the guitar is reduced does the sound clean up?
Thanks!
