If you dont cut off your split ends they just split farther up and get all frizzy and nasty.....I cut off my split ends about once every 1-2 months and my hair grows pretty fast. If I dont cut them off then it gets icky and doesnt even grow.

Uhh, you can't grow out your split ends genius. Your hair grows from the roots. Split ends only get bigger when your hair gets dry and brittle. ANDDD trimming your split ends depends on how many inches of split ends you have.

usually cutting an inch or a half an inch is the typical length for a trim. you SHOULD be cutting off at least a half an inch when you get a trim. if you don't you wont be cutting off the full length of the dead ends.

The shampoo and conditioner she was talking about is actually called Mane 'n Tail. And isn't all that expensive. It's about $4.50 at Sally Beauty unless you have a Beauty Club card, which makes it cheaper. I recommend it. :)

I'm actually really confused. Your hair grows from your roots, not your ends. Your ends will keep splitting if you keep treating it the way you do that got them like that in the first place. You can stop your ends from splitting but you do have to cut them off.
