@TheDoucheChanel There is no such thing as a "bad" combination, in fact this combination in extremely powerful. The video you mention is a Swordmaster run, this is Royal Guard. As you well know, the weapons behave very differently in Swordmaster, I personally pair Cerberus with Agni & Rudra mostly when I play Swordmaster.
The key word is "personally", DMC3 is about bringing personal style to the action. Just because someone plays differently to you does not mean that it is "bad" or wrong.

Then listen to the enemy's audio cue before it attacks and when your button press relates to this cue. Once you learn the cue for each enemy type you'll be able to parry almost subconsciously even attacks coming in from off-screen. This is the beauty of DMC3 - they absolutely wrecked this mechanic in DMC4.
