Both are good softwares. Mac can run many media programs effeciently and has a very clean os to work on (with little or no bugs). windows 7 is also a equally powerful software that can run many more heavy graphical games, is more compatible with more programs and is also relatively easy to get around (it is the most commonly used software anyway). They both have excellent backgrounds to choose from. (oh and i have used both os's before)

i use Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and i'm not going back i love mac way more then Windows 7, but the windows 7 wallpapers look good really good to.

but when it comes to what operating system i prefer using it's snow leopard.

I got to use both of them (Snow Leopard and Windows 7) and i think that Mac OS X was always better then Windows and not only when i compare windows 7 and and Snow Leopard.

kno what i notice,only ppl who dont really know about computing doesnt like windows,because the simple little problems the complain about like windows being slow or crashing and freezing,has to do more about cheap hardware and insuffient ram,where as wi ndows have the disk cleanup option to remove any files that is not in use and unclutter your drive,mac dont even have that,have to get download a program to do it,and it comes standard...

- I've used Windows 7 (RTM) and it has worked absolutely amazing for me! A friend of mine installed it on his laptop (a shitty one at that with just bearly a 1Ghz processor and 512MB RAM) and it runs fine. I haven't had any crash on my computer, nor has it crashed on any other of the 6 PCs I've installed it

Before you say anything - I have used Snow Leopard, and with 2Ghz Duo core and 1GB DDR2 RAM, it ran like crap.

I just brought a Mac and I love it! A matter of fact- I turned my iMac into a router and my PC rides of that. You know I am not just say this but apple is much better than PC, even the quality of the computer is better. My PC kept crashing, freezing up and slow. I put about 1,500 dollars in my PC when I should of brought a Mac for about 1,200 and could of saved 300 dollars. I will never go back to PC, well im not going to say never but for now I love my Mac and I getting a mac note for school.

I find Mac's are better for art/Keynote, whereas Windows PC's are better functionality wise: backups, everyday use, games.

The Mac OS aren't bad they are just very one sided and really not worth anything for someone who wants more compatibility or usefulness out of his/her computer.

Windows computers take a little more skill to understand how to use (which is why mac users don't like windows because they are used to getting everything handed to them).

I actually remember a commercial for mac (real commercial) that stated that mac users are dumb (I don't think that) and need a mac to do things for them.

This cracks me up... Im a computer specialist, Im fluent in both mac and pc's... Im typing this on my Unibody Macbook Pro... Skill has nothing to do with it. Yes PC's take more skill to use because they crash, are vulnerable to viruses, HAVE A REGISTRY... Macs are simple yes, but because of this they are capable of more... Windows. Mac's are too expensive, the hardware doesn't offer the same freedom you have with a PC, there are very few good games for Mac, there is not 64 bit version of Photoshop available for the Mac, all their machines ranging from Mac Mini, to iMac and Mac Book are all very restricted. The only descent Mac is a Mac Pro, but $2,500 just to be able to have multiple internal hard drives? No thanks lol. And Win 7 is better than OS X (I also hate the Mac community, theyr'e so gay)
