I think it is a disgrace that meet Joe black was nominated for a razzie award for worst remake or sequel and that it received a lot of mixed reviews. This is an amazing film. And if any version is glacially slow it is the original from 1934. Meet Joe black is one of my favourite films and the acting is incredible. And the film has so much emotion. It never fails to have me in tears at the end.

@88brummpa She waited looking at the bridge, and then 'Joe' came back. He walked and spoke like the guy from the café, and said that the last few weeks had been somewhat fuzzy. She realized that it was not Joe, but the guy she had met in the café - and she realized, from this and her last dance with Joe, that he was Death. She said to the café guy: I wish you could have met my father. :)

I saw it last night and this is ONE OF THE WORST FILMS EVER MADE! So boring and superficial. The only "light" in it is Anthony Hopkins who is really a great actor. Brad Pitt and C. Forlani are both very unconvincing playing their characters.

Okay I just watched this movie and I am absolutely SPEECHLESS! One of the best movies I've ever seen! There were sooo many scenes in here that just give you the tingles and you can't help but become COMPLETELY absorbed in the movie. This is a movie that is beautiful, compelling, and will completely touch your soul! Wow I'm not going to be able to get over this feeling for days haha...
