  • dude is that potting soil... wtf

  • change the substrate omg

  • pretty gecko!!!! I am setting up to start breeding again. I had 4 in the past put sadly I was young and irresponisble and the crickets ate thier poo and then they ate the crickets and thier pathogens got outta whack and they passed. That was almost 3 years ago so now I am setting up 3 tanks for 6 leopards. :] i have a 30gallon for 3-4 females and im buying another 30 gallon and buying a divider so i can have 2 males. then a tank for babies. ;]

  • WOW nice vid you got there.

    =D

  • thanks

  • i have a leopard gecko too, he's so cute! a neat thing about him is he has a rainbow tint, so his tail is purple and his head is green and stuff(in addition to the yellow and black leopard markings). which i must say is rather unique.

  • wow cool my gecko leona doesnt like me touching or holding her she squirms and snaps at me but i have to let her down after like 3 seconds cause im scared i might pull the tail off any tips on how to train it to be tame É

  • my gecky was pretty easy to tame. i think basicly you just have to get them used to it, show 'em you're in charge and won't hurt them. i don't think leopard geckos drop their tails easily, so as long as you don't yank it, it shouldn't be a problem. when my gecky squirms, i just hold him tight and eventually he gives up and i pet him.

  • oh i tried that today and he gave up then i pet him for like a minute then he started squirming and i had to let him down cause i was almost pulling his tail

  • have you tried just holding him by his belly? i've never had to grab the tail.

  • well first i go for the higher part of the body near the head i to hold him and calm him down then i grab him by the part under his neck near her check/belly

  • i think a simple grip around the chest/belly would do fine.

  • but she squirms up and my hand ends up on the tail but i dont want to grip to hard it might give her a very hard time breathing i wish it was as easy as 1,2,3

  • hmmmm.... *goes and gets gecko*

  • weeell.... don't know if this helps, but make sure not to put her upside down, always have her feet on something(they squirm more to get a grip), get her used to being picked up and on you, maybe try putting her on your shoulder or something, make sure to at least attempt holdering her every day.

  • were do u get the live crickets id try them with my turtles to help them grow
