In Puerto Rico there's a company that wants to bring IPTV but can't cuz there's another company that is objecting in court. But finally they're going to decide in about 3 days. The asshole company that's objecting only haves 4Mb Internet, they want to keep us in prehistoric times.
I would think that Chris, being from Iowa, would know that IPTV stands for Iowa Public Televison, which mostly shows british and canadian shows. . . lol
On my channel, there is a video named "A message from Michael Solomon." Michael was the co-founder of Telepictures Corp., the inventor of TV syndication, and the president of Warner Bros. International. His message has valuable information relating to the security of digital content, which ties directly into IPTV. Until they get online security figured out, IPTV will be tormented by pirates and hackers.

You are missing the boat. IPTV is not Internet TV, it is simply TV over IP transmission technology instead of RF. IPTV however enables Internet TV, so you could potentially watch crappy YouTube videos on your TV, but that is not the point behind IPTV. Content rights issues mean that the big providers will still have the rights to the content, and they will want to charge for it.
I'll tell you, living out in the middle of no where, you can't get anything but dial-up, even with a fiber-optic line and a regeneration plant a little more then a 1000 feet from my house. Man, Oregon sucks.
