  • I'm so glad i watched An Education, or I never would have known her, incredible artist

  • love this so much!

  • i LOVE LOVE LOVE her. She does have an old soul and a peaceful vibe.

  • i just love you...sound...rhytm...dingeling...beautiful

  • Oh yes, I like this chanson. This is Melody Gardot as I like her. The real.

  • Excellent tune.

  • I love this song. Just saw her show last week, and it was BRILLIANT. I highly recommend anyone to check out her show, if you like her music or not, it's something great to see. And she is just the nicest person, very funny as well.

  • beautiful and deep.

  • Incredibly talented- her music is so beautiful.

  • this woman has such an old soul...

    and she's so young!

God really gifted us w/ her talent..

She so very easily could never have lived to create her art, or would have never realized her gift had she not experienced her accident. But whatever brought her talent to us, those who want to be rude and unappreciative, should go elsewhere. This woman has talent and a gift. Period.

  • Abosoultely Brilliant!!!!!!!!!

She amazing a can't wait to get her CD soon.

  • im feelin this..im mad that im just now hearing of her

  • The reference to Eva Cassidy is well deserved. It's exactly what I was thinking as I've been listening to Ms. Gardot's music. Haunting, beautiful, right down to the bare essence of a stunning vocal capability.

  • I think Melody Gardot brings such a mellow venue to this overly pop-no-talent American culture. She actually sings with feeling, and brings the magic Eva Cassidy brought whenever she broadcasted her talent.

  • There is no need to put down one Genre to lift up another. I like pop music as I like many many other genres of music. I think each has there place. For me personally I prefer the pop haze over the. Mid and late 90's were we all listened to either overly shallow self pntificating music in a tone like this or the hordes or crappy rock bands and alternative music. That noe one wants to hear anymore. Point being. If it's not one genre it's the other that we are squeezing the life out of. lol

  • the only parts that sound similar are

    Mayer - "Fathers....daughters!"

Gardot - "all of the men..."

Apart from that, your statement doesnt hold water.

    no wonder you were spamed.

Why is this song no where to be found?

  • Saw her live last week at The Stables, England. Bought the CD. Awesome talent. The trumpet players are something else - lovely old 'late night' muted sounds. Makes a change from saxes. See her live if you get the chance - she doesn't do many live gigs due to her injuries. Gutsy lady. Respect.

  • go to rehab amy and find your soul then perhaps you might produce music that may just reach the depths melody has. totally beautiful and from her true soul

  • Beautiful song and version.

  • Melody you rock in a smooth, insightful, inspiring, other-world way. I send this to my daughter with love, as my mother would have sent this song to me with love.

  • thats why I think, I cant live without music

  • This is beautiful.

  • my definition of beautiful

  • Amen brother!

  • I love this song!

  • Melody-you are an AMAZING singer/songwriter and I look forward to hearing more from you!

  • I am love with this song
