I can't believe this moron acutally thinks that you can compare this game to real life sniping, and that you just sit somewhere for five minutes and get to kill someone. No, moron. Educate yourself. There have been people dropped off in the middle of nowhere with a small section of a map and had to low crawl across enemy lines and not stand for days on end, only to take a single shot from a great distance and deliver and instant kill and then exfiltrate without being caught. That's sniping.
I really dont bother Hardscope, but when I see players lying across the map, scope in for full 4 seconds and still scope at the end of the killcam, thats annoying. But If u here some come around a corner scope in firts and he runs in ur sights its ok. QS is all about, 1 shot, 1 kill, miss and its no skill. But sniping i prefere scoping first find ur target and shoot, drag shots exp, or fast scoping as I like to call it. Just scope in fast and get the kill
I think that people should do what they want. I like trickshotting occasionally but i do also play games where I'l go hard for the win. If i wana spin 20 times while jumping off a building shouldn't i be able to? I payed 60 bucks for this game. so other people can tell me how to play it?

simple concept to grasp, good sniping is doing what ever it takes to win, whether that means a hardscope, a quickscope, pulling out your pistol, or putting down your sniper and picking up a reg gun
Sniping is sniping. You hardscope when you need to. You quickscope when you need to. You noscope when you need to. If you do well sniping, you do well. The skill is in the accuracy. Trickshotting is for GWK because it looks cool. It's not easy, and it does take great accuracy, and arguably takes skill, but ultimately it doesn't determine whether or not you're a good player. I've been sniping since COD2, and it's effective. Quickscoping doesn't ruin the game. It makes the sniper more versatile.
Man I feel the same exact way about this as you do! I also have been sniping on games for about 6 years now, but on Playstation consoles. My accuracy now is not the best because I have used other guns that mess it up, but if I were to start a brand new account and only snipe I would easily have a very high percentage. You can use a sniper to play offensively or defensively. I usually quickscope when the enemy is at a distance where i know i can hit them. I hold my breath at long range or stay scoped in.. Oh and by the way, trickshotting takes no skill, jumping off of a surface that is not at ground level, spinning then shooting at random takes zero skill. If you can time your spins, thats great. But your still a fanboy flipping trickshotter.
Being able to implement Quickscoping, Hardscoping and Trickshotting with accuracy into your arsenal of abilities will make you a better player in general than some who constantly trickshots and hit One 720 out of mabye 50

Sniping is taking ur time aiming being stealthy and HELPING UR TEAM spinning around on search n destroy like a dick and loosing the game for ur team isnt helping ur team,neithe tis it throwing up the scope as fast as u can and relying on auto aim todo the work for u

I love this commentary. I'm pretty good at sniping but im obviously better with ARs or smgs so it's hard for me to put them down and become great at sniping. But this is gonna help me pick up the sniper and join an open lobby after a little more practice. It's fun to watch people with enough patience to get this good at sniping.

I found this video helpful. I know that I only started trying to quickscope because I saw other guys doing it pretty well. But of course, I epicly failed at it. His advice is really true about how you'll gradually get better and quicker with your shooting. I can do those "quick hardscopes" pretty consistently now, even though it took some practice.

I started sniping in 007 nightfire on the PS2, and on Counter strike with the AWP, i've been sniping over all in games for 5 years, 3 in COD. I remeber back in the old days when i was a noob, on Mw2 (my first cod) i started sniping at lvl 41, i used to sit back in the big house at A flag on skidrow domination with intervention, hardscope and then pull out my raffica red dot, and go into b spawn, my scores were usually around 10-25 kills and 5-15 deaths, if i got 25kills, 20 were with rafficas xD
i played 1 week with scar on mw2 when i started sniping and after a long while i got rly fast and started to look on youtube... i was kinda quickscoping before i found out it existed... im actualy realy great at sniping but i never learned to use regular gun :L makes me terrible player overall

i think sniping is all the above but i dont like it when u play snd and there is one guy left on ur team and he just stands there setting up for someone on the other team that wants to do a good final kilcam. so wenevr i play snd evry sniper on the onthr team that like trikshoting rages at me coz i wont set up for them ill just kill them. its just a wast of fucking time setting up!!!!!

@mrdimebreezy the setting you use to render maybe the case that dis allows them from editing and the.format. Change to .Avi so they can use any editor to edit it

SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!! if anyone can help me i promise you 10 dollars over paypal i just bought a happauge and when i send clips to people the resolution is bad? i thought i didnt need a editing program to render it i thought i could just record clips then send them to editers so they can render them. a good sniper on COD knows when to hardscope and when to quickscope. never camps and is always running around. gets quadfeeds and goes for a good killcam in SND

@TheJojordy if its OP then why doesn't everyone snipe? because it takes practice to be good at it. it wouldn't be realistic if it took 2 shots for a sniper to kill. 1 shot with a 50cal would put a hole in a persons chest the size of a bowling ball.
And about sniping, i think you need to have an exceptional playing level to be a good sniper. People say, oh anyone can quick scope, when really, unless you're a good player, you can't. And to those people who complain about sniping being op, sure most of the time its a one hit kill, but if you miss at close/medium range you're going to die most of the time. Thanks, Peace!
Basically to be able to use a sniper effectively you need to know spawns, cover, your sensitivity 8-10 on mw3, and practice alot with 1 or 2 snipers and get good with those

i remember when i first sniped in cod4 i hardscoped for my first 15 kill streak, and i got a message from some guy calling me a fucking hardscope i was like wth!!! haha
In my opinion sniping is a skill that can make a player unique as anyone can walk around with an assault rifle and get kills. I myself prefer sniping over reg gunning but it is totally up to the player because in the end it is it is their style of gaming and they can do as they wish it is just when people camp, spray or are horribly inaccurate it tends to get annoying. I honestly cannot quick scope that well but when i hard scope the chances of me getting the kill are 9/10.
sniping for me is a stress reliever its so fun and easy in any cod well with exception of black ops but wit sum practice jst the same ilov it and ill keep doing no matter what sometime reg goning is fun but yu get tired of it you know jst wana be different in the lobby and gain more respect although many say quikscoping is the only way to be honest hardscoping is alot harder haha like imis more hard scopz than quik scops xD

Sniping is about blowing someones brains/bones out with as many bullets it takes to get the kill either QS,NS, or HS. I like to do all of them, that's why I have a 14% hit percentage. XD It's all about the fun CoD brings to us!

I couldnt agree with you more! i have always thought that efficiency should come before how pretty the shot is. It just deosnt make sence not to go for kills, but rather pretty shots!

I would say that i agree with everything you have discussed in this commentary. I am starting to miss gameplays on opticnation and on your channel where you go 30-0 Those sort of gameplays in ffa are why i watch opticnations gameplays. I am almost feeling that the standard of your gameplays is starting to slip slightly because a large amount of your gameplays is something like 30-5 i imagine that this is due to the odd sporns etc but with your skill i would hope that this is possible. Sniping to me is methodical and slow and safe way to play. As a sniper you should be sitting back providing support and insta-kill accurate shots. I see all of these little kids running around and it kinda irks me because that kid looks at me and says that I'm using a long range wepon wrong by sitting back and taking my time.
i agree with dtreats, i also agree with what H3CZ said, he said that snipers are at a total dis-advantage, because a sniper shoots 1 round every 3 seconds, but regular gun users shoot mabye 15-20 rounds a second, thats why it takes such skill to be a good and effective sniper..
Sniping involves accuracy and patience in real life cod is fun but really unrealistic can't be compared to real life sniping -_-

I found this video helpful. I know that I only started trying to quickscope because I saw other guys doing it pretty well. But of course, I epicly failed at it. His advice is really true about how you'll gradually get better and quicker with your shooting. I can do those "quick hardscopes" pretty consistently now, even though it took some practice.

I started sniping in 007 nightfire on the PS2, and on Counter strike with the AWP, i've been sniping over all in games for 5 years, 3 in COD. I remeber back in the old days when i was a noob, on Mw2 (my first cod) i started sniping at lvl 41, i used to sit back in the big house at A flag on skidrow domination with intervention, hardscope and then pull out my raffica red dot, and go into b spawn, my scores were usually around 10-25 kills and 5-15 deaths, if i got 25kills, 20 were with rafficas xD

i played 1 week with scar on mw2 when i started sniping and after a long while i got rly fast and started to look on youtube... i was kinda quickscoping before i found out it existed... im actualy realy great at sniping but i never learned to use regular gun :L makes me terrible player overall

i think sniping is all the above but i dont like it when u play snd and there is one guy left on ur team and he just stands there setting up for someone on the other team that wants to do a good final kilcam. so wenevr i play snd evry sniper on the onthr team that like trikshoting rages at me coz i wont set up for them ill just kill them. its just a wast of fucking time setting up!!!!!

@mrdimebreezy the setting you use to render maybe the case that dis allows them from editing and the.format. Change to .Avi so they can use any editor to edit it

SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!! if anyone can help me i promise you 10 dollars over paypal i just bought a happauge and when i send clips to people the resolution is bad? i thought i didnt need a editing program to render it i thought i could just record clips then send them to editers so they can render them. But the clips were to long to email so i had to go in to total media extreme and cut them to make them shorter but that makes it so my editers cant edit them?? HELP!!! 10 dollars!!!!!!!

@xGuns0fHonorX1 yes it does, look at FaZe, they are the best snipers apart from Dtreats, it takes skill to jump off and do shit in the air while being shot at. It also shows creativity. a shit sniper would hardscope or quickscope for the final kill.

@ohEcto Dude if you think going for kill cams makes you Creative you need to rethink things. no one does creative things anymore cause it all been done ladder stalls Y,Y, etc.. so you cant say that. and yea it takes some skill but 40% or so of QS its luck in the COD world go look at Thunder's Clip about the Gay QS and you'll see. and if you think a dude who takes 100 shots for 1 kill cam makes him good you need help cause you dont listen to dtreats he said if you cant hit it Dont do it so.

@TheJojordy if its OP then why doesn't everyone snipe? because it takes practice to be good at it. it wouldn't be realistic if it took 2 shots for a sniper to kill. 1 shot with a 50cal would put a hole in a persons chest the size of a bowling ball.

And about sniping, i think you need to have an exceptional playing level to be a good sniper. People say, oh anyone can quick scope, when really, unless you're a good player, you can't. And to those people who complain about sniping being op, sure most of the time its a one hit kill, but if you miss at close/medium range you're going to die most of the time. Thanks, Peace!

Basically to be able to use a sniper effectively you need to know spawns, cover, your sensitivity 8-10 on mw3, and practice alot with 1 or 2 snipers and get good with those

In my opinion sniping is a skill that can make a player unique as anyone can walk around with an assault rifle and get kills. I myself prefer sniping over reg gunning but it is totally up to the player because in the end it is it is their style of gaming and they can do as they wish it is just when people camp, spray or are horribly inaccurate it tends to get annoying. I honestly cannot quick scope that well but when i hard scope the chances of me getting the kill are 9/10.

sniping for me is a stress reliever its so fun and easy in any cod well with exception of black ops but wit sum practice jst the same ilov it and ill keep doing no matter what sometime reg goning is fun but yu get tired of it you know jst wana be different in the lobby and gain more respect although many say quikscoping is the only way to be honest hardscoping is alot harder haha like imis more hard scopz than quik scops xD

to me sniping is a way of life just learning how to use a sniper is like ur first steps hard scoping is like going to school then quickscoping is like graduating from school and lastly trickshoting is like rideng a skateboard first you learn to do ride then ollie kick flip pop shove it and so on. yea i agree with dtreats ima a trickshotter but i much rather quickscope or hardscope when i can. Trickshotting is fun and all but no one said we had to do it all the time. So dtreats nice commentary and keep it going with the vids. And do the clips we send in have to be MW3.

Sniping is about blowing someones brains/bones out with as many bullets it takes to get the kill either QS,NS, or HS. I like to do all of them, that's why I have a 14% hit percentage. XD It's all about the fun CoD brings to us!

Accuracy is the main thing before the presentation of the shot.
i Cant stand it when you go in a game of Mw2 and theres one person on one team standing still when the other team 'try' to hit trickshots.. its so fixed and it doesnt take nowhere near as much skill as it does to get Feeds!

I would say that i agree with everything you have discussed in this commentary. I am starting to miss gameplays on opticnation and on your channel where you go 30-0 Those sort of gameplays in ffa are why i watch opticnations gameplays. I am almost feeling that the standard of your gameplays is starting to slip slightly because a large amount of your gameplays is something like 30-5 i imagine that this is due to the odd sporns etc but with your skill i would hope that this is possible. Sniping to me is methodical and slow and safe way to play. As a sniper you should be sitting back providing support and insta-kill accurate shots. I see all of these little kids running around and it kinda irks me because that kid looks at me and says that I'm using a long range wepon wrong by sitting back and taking my time.

i agree with dtreats, i also agree with what H3CZ said, he said that snipers are at a total dis-advantage, because a sniper shoots 1 round every 3 seconds, but regular gun users shoot mabye 15-20 rounds a second, thats why it takes such skill to be a good and effective sniper..
