I am actually the girl in the black dress halfway thru the video. I am looking @the home I grew up in, &my parents still reside. I really think that photo (as well as the rest) captures the utter feeling of helplessness we all felt/feel, as I looked out over the rubble. I was about to tackle it with the gloves in my hand, determined to find my mom's wedding ring she didn't have time to grab, but couldn't move!THANK YOU for making this video &I'm happy to know others are thinking of us. ~Jana&Fam
Toward the very end of this video (beginning with a volunteer holding a very large stuffed animal.) you will see 3 photos of Red Cross volunteers in a room full of toys.
On 12/19/08 the Ellen DeGeneres Show brought over $30,000 of toys to Santa Barbara for children affected by the Tea Fire.
With the help of the Red Cross, families came in before Christmas to get whatever they wanted from the huge selection of toys that were donated.
