I love this verision of this song....I remember singing this verision of this song in choir at Lane College in Jackson, Tn during the spring semester in 2001 and I would like to know who wrote this verision of the song because I want my church to learn it
LOL, I'm so old, I remember when we FIRST got those robes...back in the 90's
Shouts out to my 90's era Afros: Ced, Katherine, Parker, Cynthia, Sidney, Erika, Tonja, Anthony, Brent, Geoffery & everyone else. I love y'all and I miss you guys - Love, Cecil
I learned this particular song for a college choir i taught last year. No one ever heard of this arrangement. This song really ministered and touched those in the audience. Thank you for your ministry and this song.
Dello is an instructor in The Gospel Music Workshop of America, and a minister of music in metro St. Louis. Sorry that many of you do not know who he is, but he is one of the greats in the Gospel Music industry. This is his arrangement. I doubt that he is going to sue anyone unless there is some money to be made (which I doubt). LOL He is a great man. I am certain that he would be flatered.
I keep playing this song over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's beautiful a powerful song with a powerful message. I just can't stop thinking about the song. I know it was the blood!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loook @ the blood!!!!!!!!!
Ha Ha they put that white girl by her self, for good reason, cause she havin a fit in that lil corner over there by her self.... praise him white girl!!
I love to hear ya'll sing this. Ya'll rocked the house at St. Luke in Auburn when ya'll came last. I was in AUGC and a dancer there. This is going on my favorites list just as soon as I post this comment
I'm not sure who Dello Thedford is but this version is an Afro original. I don't think that was the name of the person who wrote it for us but this is definitely a copyrighted Afro-American Gospel Choir song. Just saying lol
This version is not an Afro American Gosp Choir original. The guy at the begginning even repeated what is on the original CD. Dello Thedford wrote this song and recorded it back in the early 90's. He is from St. Louis and I would not go around saying that this is an original because it may very well get your choir in a lot of legal trouble. But I am sure they documented it correctly please go back and check.
Dello Theford & the Gospel Symphonic Choir recorded this on Sound of Gospel Records in the 1990s. This is rendition of that recording but its not an original. The Afros are one of my favorite choirs. I have a version of this on my profile too.
MAN, its been so long since I've seen any of my Afros do it...I MISS y'all dearly. Shouts out to all the members of the Afro-American Gospel Chior of MY day (1994 - 1999 - and a little bit after that, lol)...
I loved seeing this and I'll see y'all in T-town for Anniversary 2008.
But we have a God!!!!! That's all that matters you just a block in the road, and let me tell you Christ who strengthens me I'm steppein right over ya!!
Man I wish I was in the choir then. I keep hearing about and now I got to see for my self. That song stayed on my mind all day yesterday and Today. Whoa!!!!
when then stay like that they look like small boris beckers

This is an original arrangement, so there is no CD for this particular song. However, Dello Thedford has a similar version on CD.
