there's this new org out there that REALLY knows how to leverage the bucks for micro=credit - the GlobalGiving Foundation - huge new idea - very, very innovative! basically, they have an EBay for philanthropy - so they have a database of a ton of grassroots projects all over the world and you can "shop" for your project - in effect, choosing which one you would like to donate to.. definitely a worth seeing - check it out
You're very welcome! I have had the privilege of knowing and covering Dr. Yunus now for sixteen years, and my respect grows as well. His work has improved the lives of tens of millions of people.
