i have a couple questions...

1. how did you you drill the snare strap holes on the rims?

2. did you convert the snares on the bottom to 8 inches or did you just buy and 8 inch snare.

I drilled the snare strap holes on the rim with a drill. No rocket sience there really.

Andthe snare wires a bought the correct soze to suit the drum, so 10 inch

Right on man, I did the same thing to my Mapex Pro M 12"x8" tom, and I love it.
