  • How can I get this video??? I am preparing research project on polygamy!!!!!!!! Pls Help me...

  • there is a girl on this site....and she was in the FLDS with warren jeffs....message me....im tlaking to her now.

  • My rules in my religion when it comes to polygamy is this; one partner per partner or no one at all and that is all. Polygamy is awful, who wants more then one spouse?

  • Well done! How did you support yourself when you left? You look beautiful, you looked very thin and frail in your FDLS years! By the way...have those "men" check the Bible, God is LOVE, and What is love? Love is patience, kind, seeks justice, merciful, charitable....and finally, "the kingdom of heaven is in you." All from the New Testament...Joseph Smith lost it in his later "revelations" He should've stopped in Doctrine and Covenants!

  • Moved in with my sister and got a job. Thanks, I was very thin in my polygamy days, down to 100 lbs. If only I could lose a little weight now! -- The fact that I was stressed out in the polygamous marriages convinced my husbands that I didn't "have the Spirit." They thought if I had LOVE, I would be happy all the time. And BTW, I wasn't in FDLS (I think that's Warren Jeffs group).

  • The difference between a harem and polygamy is that the man with the harem takes care of his wives. In polygamy relationships the wives take care of the husband. There was one Adam and one Eve. The Bible is perfectly clear that a man should have only one wife. Abraham and others repented of this sin.

  • I would like it if I had 3 wives, but only if they all agreed to live together. And no, I am not a fucking mormon. I know some poligamy families, where the guy has like 11 wives, and they where very happy. Well, not with all poligamy, but some times some stuff just works.

  • mater da vi ebam mormonska

  • It is my personal belief that the whole Book of Mormon and the whole celestial marriage thing is complete and utter bull.

Fortunately, the Mormons I know happen to be some of the nicest people around.

  • Influenced by rumors and exaggerated reports, the United States Congress, beginning in 1862, enacted a series of laws against polygamy that became increasingly harsh. Groups who teach polygamy today are not part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

  • Could you imagine what its like having two wives nagging at you all the time? Or better yet could you imagine being the less favored wife? I'd rather be in a loveless marriage, like my parents :), Its cute.

  • Is it in ignorance that Mormon witnesses like to ask the question "which church is the true church," and they have division in their own brand of Christianity? Not only that, but is the book of Mormon correct in opposition of polygamy or Joseph Smith in saying God commanded it? Did Joseph Smith apostatize or did the LDS Church apostatize under pressure from the Federal government? The true church is that which lines up with the teachings of the New Testament.

  • Isn't the church started by Joseph Smith's first wife, Emma (and her son) now called the "The Community of Christ" claiming to be the true Mormon Church? They claim to have always rejected polygamy. Emma Smith's biography reveals how much she rejected it (the book is titled "Mormon Enigma: Emma Hale Smith" by Newell and Avery). Joseph Smith clearly only had multiple wives for lots of sex.

  • Joseph Smith only had one wife.

Brigham Young was the one with like... 50 wives.

Hmm.... He could have a different one every day.

  • Not true. Joseph Smith did have multiple wives but this was not made public. I believe even LDS church historians now agree on this--but it's not something they like to emphasize.

  • When polygamy was first being practiced (by the saints) there weren't enough men to go around. It was during the American civil war, and many of the men, young and old were wiped out.

  • Actually, when the early Mormons practiced polygamy, there were more men than women. It was before the civil war. Check your history out from reputable sources, read the early church histories.

  • Actually, Joseph Smith instituted polygamy before his death in 1844, and it was practiced until the Manifesto in 1890. So, yeah, it was practiced during the civil war (you need to check YOUR facts). Also, many men died crossing the plains. But a lack of men was not the reason they practiced it--they did it for doctrinal reasons.

  • Also again, FLDS church and LDS church are totally seperate. FLDS are polys and don't use the SLC temple, so Im not sure this video makes sense at all.

  • Not every polygamist comes from or is in the FLDS church and many polygamists that aren't in the LDS church still believe that the LDS church is true.

  • Then why wouldn't they belong to a church they believe in?

  • Most of them believe the LDS church is true but that it has gone astray since the Manifesto. They believe that "One Mighty and Strong" will come along and set the Church back in order again. They believe that John Taylor set apart a number of people to "live the principle" and keep it alive and gave them authority to perform plural marriages that will some day be accepted by the LDS church. This is their claim.(esp. the Allred group)

  • interesting. I've never heard that thanks for sharing

  • same claimed the lebaron brother right? being the mighty and strong

  • if all men could have just 2 wives (forget about 3, 4, 5 or more) then half the men would live and die single and lonely (other than homosexuals). It's a screwed up practice that would only work when there's not enough men to go around.

  • Sure would be great if they were though!!!!!!!

  • you guys have no clue what it's really like. so i dont think you should be saying how dumb it is or how polygamists are perverts. you dont know anything

  • i am glad i dont know, its disgusting sharing fluids like that ...those men are in it cause they are pigs and the women dont see it. morons

  • dude, if you think it's so disgusting why are you watching this video anyway?

  • sick like how people share fluids with everyone except their spouse huh!?

  • So, what are you? Like 10 years old? No one said you have to do it. Go get a life.

  • you know what i am glad I AM FREE from that crap! have fun sharing fluids with eachother...fucking distgusting, i feel i am worth more than a wife number 2

  • Women who live Mormon polygamy do it on account of religious belief, not because they don't think they could get their own man. Though maybe they do generally undervalue themselves. I disagree to the idea that a man should be in authority over a woman.

  • I am a mormon woman and we don't practice polygamy, I am married to one hot man and one man only sweetie, go check your history.

  • in islam where pologamy is allowed in very hard conditions. He MUST treat them equally and they have the right to not live in same roof.and more other strict conditions, not as i see the mormons do

  • Are wives in polygamous groups allowed to be lesbians?

  • Generally not in Mormon polygamist groups. They are pretty strict. So it's unlikely, but not impossible.

  • Interesting...

  • The full video is a must see. Truly tugs at the heart!
