This reminds me of that game we played where you sit in a circle and one person whispers in the ear of the other person;when it gets to the last person it's nothing like what was said at the start.
Point is people hear what they wanna hear; 99% of people who have "ghost moments" are expecting to see/hear the ghost !!
When you turn out the lights you take away those senses,this enhances the other senses. It makes us much more sensetive to these "ghost moments" . We see what we wanna see !!!
all recorders are set to a certain frequency, just because you hear something that does not mean that you heard a ghost, it could be any other kind of interference....
1. I don't think your recorder is good enough to be credible 2. Those voices could be coming from about anywhere 3. You should have cleaned the white noise really. It's not that hard if it's real thing and if you want to be believable yourself 4. Once there really happens something paranormal no-one believes because of these hastily done tapes like this one. I believe this is totally real, it sounds just like the one my friends and I recorded (by accident, we were recording ourselves when we were kids) we heard a baby crying and a woman humming & singing to it. This recording is clear, the fuzzy noise is simply because the lass recording it needed to turn the volume up as high as it would go for anyone to be able to hear anything, including herself. Same applied to my friends and I.
This is real, just grab a boombox or an old stereo and blank tape!

A while ago in my home studio, I created white noise with an audio app and sat there listening until I lost my nerve.
Probably if I persisted I'd might of hear something, but I don't think it's that safe... you might attract less than friendly entities into your home. And that won't be fun.
Maybe there are two spirits in the house, the girl and her murderer. The clicking could have be made by a gun being cocked. Then the second spirit noticed the recorder and shut it off. Its just an idea
sorry folks ran out of characters, I was going to say that no one questions our ability to use telescopes to pick up long lost light waves sent out by galaxies and stars long since gone going back thousands of light years away, or millions of years ago. so why not pick up sound in the same way. All these waves are electro magnetic and therefore exist in scientific reality. I believe in the theory of recorded traumatic events in principal but proving fact is a different matter.
How about a little science here, all energy regardless of light wave or heat and so on cannot be destroyed only transformed. If you drop a pebble into a still enough occean the ripples will continue outwards until you cannot see them. however they still exist as they travel outwards. The same applies to sound waves. When we make sounds the waves created continue. If you are lucky enough to have sophisticated sound recording gear or the right environment you can pick up these lost weak waves
This sounds really good for an EVP, compared to many of the others I've heard. I was hoping you would touch on something in your extended comment, and although you answered many FAQ's, there's another I'd love to know. What sort of environment is around the house that this was recorded in? By this I mean is it a rural area where the house is alone in the middle of nowhere, is it in the suburbs, city? I'm not questioning the authenticity, just interested in ruling out variables.
To be honest, that sounds really awesome, if you're positive your house has no significant history, then it might be from what was there before. but what if its picking up the voice of one of the neighbors i used a microphone on my computer once it has some range you could hear people from like 100 30-40 feet outside talking and the mic picked it up, so be sure you aren't recording real people
can never tell if an EVP is real or fake.. now ussually EV's dont last that long and are basically bits and pieces, this one seemedd to be long , drawn out, and a convo during it. now if it is infact real then Bravo. if not then still cool in my book

I tried doing this 6 years ago because of the interest in it. I used the same type of cassette and radio box. There was a woman that kept yelling
(CAN YOU HEAR ME?) This happened 3 times and it freaked me and the wife out. What we did was to put the radio on an AM station and tune it to just white noise. Then we pressed the recorder and spoke into the radio asking if anyone was there. If they were could they talk to us. On playback we heard what was mentioned above. It works / Too freaky
I'm a skeptic on this recording, I believe there are several possibilities that perhaps it's a neighbor, that your recording picked up on frequencies from someone's electronic device.
This is sad and made me cry :'-( I had to say a prayer. I believe its residual energy from a traumatic event, even if the girl didn't die. Our energy goes wild inside when we are adrenaline is up, so energy remains. And I too heard a man for sure!
i found something similar once i listened 25 sec in hearing crying in the background of beating noises i left and tried to play the rest after a while and the tape had nothing on it even in the first 25 sec were i first heard it scared the shit outa me

You may have been picking up the sounds of someone who lives close by beating their child and it being picked up by their baby monitor... and you sat and listened to it thinking it was a ghost... you make me sick.
I can hear the screeching clearly and for that it's a good EVP. But the sceptical side of me says maybe there are neighbours? If not, it's really impressive.
This EVP sounds very real, and you can tell that the tape is rolling. So if you had faked it, you put thought into it. But I don't think it's fake, just saying. Now all the demon stuff is taking it to far, demons aren't responsible for every heightened emotional presence. And there really isn't any evidence that the mother was attacking the daughter.

Ok, heres my explanation for this happening. Houses contain metal, pipes, wood and sound waves travel much faster in solid objects than in the air.
The possible reasons for this, maybe a next door neighbour, or some kid on the street was crying, the sound waves travelled all the way to your radio and hey presto, what the ear cannot hear can be heard by the radio.
its obvious the player is turned up loud and the faint, reverberated girls voice is amplified. it sounds like its coming from outside

i remember hearing of that happening on another evp, where the child spirit said something about a button, then you heard clicking noises. afterwards, it stopped recording on its own.
No, it is too natural for an EVP - It sould be... well... I think you just received a broadcast from a personal signal, or... so you received a radio-broadcast, which happened in the same time.
evp recorders are sensitive microphones, probably a recording heard nearby from a family and it sounds as if its coming from ghosts, however i would love to buy an evp recorder to try it out myself just for peace of mind

This sounds horrible. Are you sure you didn't have a window open and maybe the recorder picked up a close neighbor abusing their child? I have never heard anything like this it's sad either way. I know one thing if it is a ghost she died a tragic death.

I know you say there might not be a history of violent deaths in your home but maybe a home that was there before yours was built but was tore down or something might have the spirits lingering there or something. But if this is an actual recording and no logical explanations exist for it, then my first thought would simply be a residual haunting depending on what the house is built upon or built of. That in no way = negative energies/negative reasons for its existence... it simply is what it is. A storage recording of an event that occured at some point in time being replayed by the location.

It sounded to me like a kid playing. Kids often scream while playing this sounds like that. To be honest, it sounds to me like you were picking up a signal from someone's child monitor. Back in the day I used to have a speaker phone that would periodically pick up signals from other people's cordless phones and in one neighborhood the speaker picked up on a child monitor, I figured it out when the parent called the kid by name and it was the neighbor a couple apartments down.
and by "playing" I mean sounds like someone is antagonizing one kid who's screaming, an adult steps in to discipline the troublemaker for harassing the little girl while someone else finds the byplay funny. A pretty common occurrence with little kids al la....boys chasing girls around with something icky in hand...like a frog.
@mochacrittergirl Child monitors are notorious for bleeding the broadcasting to other devices such as telephones and other people's monitors!! Someone I know who lived right next to a radio antenna had the station broadcast over his phone while talking!!
I bought one of these EVP Ghost boxes. I've tried it at a graveyard and other places where many people have died. I think its about luck of capturing a bit of a radio stations words. I'm not impressed at all.

At 42 seconds I hear a male. At 48 seconds kid says 'F' word or 'Stop' At 1:10 conversation. At 1:14 exchange between kid and female. After kid screams at 1:46 I hear a male chuckle at 1:49
I would say (if it is indeed a ghost) it is probably an "imprint haunting". This happens when you bring something into your home that may have been around the person at the time of their death, and their spirit "imprinted" it. Little girls scream randomly and often for nothing more than the pure joy of hearing their own trilling screech (LOL - as a former little girl, I know this to be true). Having said that, and dismissing the possibility that this was nothing more than the random screechings of some girl child, have you looked into the full history of your home? Was a child (or mother - mother/child) murdered there? I agree she sounds distressed, but without proof it might not be as dramatic as posted.
@imacceptingbut I very much agree with you that the girls sounds need not mean that she died violently and I have said so before, and there is no evidence or records of any violent deaths in the house. It's possible that she didn't died violently or that she wandered and never lived in the house at all. A non violent death can lead to young spirits not knowing they are dead. I believe that this ghost was scared or startled by something and that the sounds have nothing to do with how she died.
@IandRsLoveChild I've listened to this a few tims through, and there's no doubt to me that it's some kind of distress scream, your house aside, was there any house that was on the same space before your home was built? Or any homes in the immediate vicinity that are no longer there?

This reminds me of that game we played where you sit in a circle and one person whispers in the ear of the other person;when it gets to the last person it's nothing like what was said at the start.
Point is people hear what they wanna hear; 99% of people who have "ghost moments" are expecting to see/hear the ghost !!
When you turn out the lights you take away those senses,this enhances the other senses. It makes us much more sensetive to these "ghost moments" . We see what we wanna see !!!

I believe this is totally real, it sounds just like the one my friends and I recorded (by accident, we were recording ourselves when we were kids) we heard a baby crying and a woman humming & singing to it. This recording is clear, the fuzzy noise is simply because the lass recording it needed to turn the volume up as high as it would go for anyone to be able to hear anything, including herself. Same applied to my friends and I.
This is real, just grab a boombox or an old stereo and blank tape!

A while ago in my home studio, I created white noise with an audio app and sat there listening until I lost my nerve.
Probably if I persisted I'd might of hear something, but I don't think it's that safe... you might attract less than friendly entities into your home. And that won't be fun.

How about a little science here, all energy regardless of light wave or heat and so on cannot be destroyed only transformed. If you drop a pebble into a still enough occean the ripples will continue outwards until you cannot see them. however they still exist as they travel outwards. The same applies to sound waves. When we make sounds the waves created continue. If you are lucky enough to have sophisticated sound recording gear or the right environment you can pick up these lost weak waves

This sounds really good for an EVP, compared to many of the others I've heard. I was hoping you would touch on something in your extended comment, and although you answered many FAQ's, there's another I'd love to know. What sort of environment is around the house that this was recorded in? By this I mean is it a rural area where the house is alone in the middle of nowhere, is it in the suburbs, city? I'm not questioning the authenticity, just interested in ruling out variables.

I tried doing this 6 years ago because of the interest in it. I used the same type of cassette and radio box. There was a woman that kept yelling
(CAN YOU HEAR ME?) This happened 3 times and it freaked me and the wife out. What we did was to put the radio on an AM station and tune it to just white noise. Then we pressed the recorder and spoke into the radio asking if anyone was there. If they were could they talk to us. On playback we heard what was mentioned above. It works / Too freaky

This EVP sounds very real, and you can tell that the tape is rolling. So if you had faked it, you put thought into it. But I don't think it's fake, just saying. Now all the demon stuff is taking it to far, demons aren't responsible for every heightened emotional presence. And there really isn't any evidence that the mother was attacking the daughter.

I then couldn't breath and I heard old organ music then I felt a burning sensation on my neck and when I was finally able to move I looked at my neck and there were 3 really deep cuts on my neck it was scary. oh and 3 scratches are demonic.

Ok, heres my explanation for this happening. Houses contain metal, pipes, wood and sound waves travel much faster in solid objects than in the air.
The possible reasons for this, maybe a next door neighbour, or some kid on the street was crying, the sound waves travelled all the way to your radio and hey presto, what the ear cannot hear can be heard by the radio.
its obvious the player is turned up loud and the faint, reverberated girls voice is amplified. it sounds like its coming from outside

i remember hearing of that happening on another evp, where the child spirit said something about a button, then you heard clicking noises. afterwards, it stopped recording on its own.

I know you say there might not be a history of violent deaths in your home but maybe a home that was there before yours was built but was tore down or something might have the spirits lingering there or something. I do not know. But my idea is maybe a mother was murdered and the child is like seeing her mother dead and calling her but her mom is not responding. So, the child screams, and keeps calling her. Without reading through the other comments (as there are a ton) - I'm sure someone else has already stated this. But if this is an actual recording and no logical explanations exist for it, then my first thought would simply be a residual haunting depending on what the house is built upon or built of. That in no way = negative energies/negative reasons for its existence... it simply is what it is. A storage recording of an event that occured at some point in time being replayed by the location.

It sounded to me like a kid playing. Kids often scream while playing this sounds like that. To be honest, it sounds to me like you were picking up a signal from someone's child monitor. Back in the day I used to have a speaker phone that would periodically pick up signals from other people's cordless phones and in one neighborhood the speaker picked up on a child monitor, I figured it out when the parent called the kid by name and it was the neighbor a couple apartments down.

I bought one of these EVP Ghost boxes. I've tried it at a graveyard and other places where many people have died. I think its about luck of capturing a bit of a radio stations words. I'm not impressed at all.

I would say (if it is indeed a ghost) it is probably an "imprint haunting". This happens when you bring something into your home that may have been around the person at the time of their death, and their spirit "imprinted" it. Little girls scream randomly and often for nothing more than the pure joy of hearing their own trilling screech (LOL - as a former little girl, I know this to be true). Having said that, and dismissing the possibility that this was nothing more than the random screechings of some girl child, have you looked into the full history of your home? Was a child (or mother - mother/child) murdered there? I agree she sounds distressed, but without proof it might not be as dramatic as posted.

@imacceptingbut I very much agree with you that the girls sounds need not mean that she died violently and I have said so before, and there is no evidence or records of any violent deaths in the house. It's possible that she didn't died violently or that she wandered and never lived in the house at all. A non violent death can lead to young spirits not knowing they are dead. I believe that this ghost was scared or startled by something and that the sounds have nothing to do with how she died.
