this is not for publicity, but i was actually in the triangle years ago and i too discovered some of the same things we hear about...instrument failure and i saw my first USO. even confirmed it on radar with another mate. whatever the object was got within approx 3 miles of us and CIC never even noticed it was the scary part, yet it was on radar. this is a true event and another sailor said the EXACT same thing on history channel years later...wierd, thought no one would ever believe me..

there are lots of myths and mysteries behind the bermuda triangle but there are certian things such as clumps of rock on the sea floor that contain highly pressurised methane gas. it is believed that when underwater earthquakes occur they will leave cracks in thhe sea bed leaving leeway for this pressurised gas to escape. when this gas escapes there will be a vast amount of it and tests have proven that this would be enough to sink the biggest of ships.

@IcyRhythms same sort of theory but when the gas escapes the water and goes into the air it becomes more pressurised by the sorrounding oxygen and when planes fly threw this it would cause turbulance and eventually it would shut down the turbines and the engine and knock it out of the sky.

I don't think the "Bermuda Triangle" as a mysterious area exists. If one researches the facts behind each of the disappearances, almost all of them don't seem mysterious or supernatural at all. There is no one who is saying that there is a mystery who is basing that opinion on good accurate information.

This was useful for my project. I liked the topic - ELECTRONIC FOG. But the theory on BLACKHOLES WAS NOT CORRECT. If a blackhole is present on the Earth's surface - underwater or on land, it must have sucked Earth long back.

I think the earth has meridians and chakras, just like our bodies do. The Sargasso Sea could be one of its chakras creating the clockwise rotating currents and making sudden storms and electrical activity and thus magnetic anomalies more common in this area than in others.

I would have to disagree with your final conclusion because that does not really include slow moving vessels unless it lasts for a LONG time.
Also,extremely large naval vessels such as the Cyclops don't just go down unless it's a REALLY BIG storm.
They go out on patrol and rescue missions for the duration,
regardless of weather.
I do believe that you are right about this-
that it is a combination of elements not any one factor.

I believe that the bermuda triangle is actually the mysterious Area 51. Full of UFO sightings too. Also, some news people have contacted ex workers of Area 51 and the ex workers said that nobody, even the workers know where they work. They are sent to unknown places to work. I believe that they are sent to the bermuda triangle to do studys or work on extremely private documents that they must put a safety/privacy barrier in the bermuda triangle.
