  • America's first five albums were great. Following this album, my absolute favorites were Homecoming and Holiday. I don't know why but all their albums began with "H".

  • I didn't know that Dan died either. What a shame. That run of the end of the song is awesome. I've been trying to figure it out on the guitar for a long time. I'm getting close! I saw the original America in concert a few times back in the 70's. They were soooo good. They each played acoustic guitar with a small back up band. I had never seen anything like it nor have I since.

  • Wow, I didnt know, been listening to this cd for years now..RIP

  • Another excellent America tune...i love the 12 string...especially that run at the end or the chorus...i have been a passionate fan of America since the seventies...great music from that generation...i am so sorry to find out that Dan passed away...and on my birthday...July 24...and as already mentioned...'Here'...what a powerful song...really taps into the emotions...thanks for sharing these great songs...best wishes to all America fans...we are kindred spirits.

  • clarice and this made me there biggest fan

  • @able506 I have heard all of the greatest hits stuff, but when I heard this cd, I think its way better. No one really knows about this CD.

  • @johncuda i wouldnt say no one knows as i believe it was there self titled debut album which catapulted them into rock stardom

  • ...Cómo quisiera qué volviesen a tocar en mi país...

  • Okay now this song just screams Neil Young.

  • @JuggaloFaygoDrinker I agree. Alot of America's music sounded like Neil Young. I thought for the longest time that Neil Young was in America. Not sure which was performing first but I've always liked them both. Cool tune to play on the guitar.Enjoy1

  • tutte queste corde per così poco tempo...si...ciao Dan !!!

  • A little bit of Peek magic to start your day, RIP Dan....

  • This is wicked

  • If now tecknology brings a lot of easier tasks , imagine after ressurrection...we will be able to literally travel on time to see the performances of this band and others at many stages of their carreers and shows...that is why i am a good boy and an LDS of course. i known certain things ...you can bet your sweet life on that fellows. And see you some day bigger ones;

  • AMERICA = SO GOOD !

  • I didn't know Dan died....maybe that is why I came to this song today; tears were in my eyes from hearing "Here" now this. RIP Dan Peek. So many chords, so little time.

  • Just consider the odds of three US Air Force personnel just happening to be posted to the same station in England where their sons just happen to meet at school and they all just happen to be brilliant musicians, songwriters and singers and form a group that conquers the musical world.

  • best America song period

  • such awesome acoustic music..who was Dan???

  • @codern face palm the guy on the right side of the album pictured above he was lead vocals on a couple on song really great musician he just did in july so thats why on basically every america song on youtube it says r.i.p dan

  • Indeed, RIP Dan
