This may seem like an odd question, but can you make a Kransekake without almonds? I know it isn't technically a Kransekake then but I think they look so impressive I'd like to know if any other type of dough comes out at a similar consistency which you could construct in the same way?

Hi! so nice :) this kransekake tast ewen better if you freeze it. Take it out of freezer day before wedding and decorate it..
