I don't think there is one. The way the weapon works is, the shorter the range, the greater the damage. Although I think I could have kicked Loki's ass with the daggers. But nope! They send me all the way back to the start of the game.

Yes, you have to duck under the rock when playing the grey statues with the purple tongues. You get knocked off if you don't. Yet he walks by standing up. This just can't be done. No one can play this game that good. It is just too hard. He has something going on that is a cheat.

Nice! There is a little more to the ending for those who don't know. Theres other Speed Run vids out there. One by talbot1939 who also cut the end a bit differently and playing out the end boss I guess not to ruin it and give away too much. And one vid by TheMeanArena as well.

I have 4 lives because you gain a life every 30,000 points. You can beat the game naked, it doesn't matter what armor you have, it's the special weapon that counts.

I agree. Look at the frame exactly when 4:45 begins. Glitch, or proof of cheating? It's ok to use tool assisted runs, just admit to doing it to level the playing field.

as it happens i found a website which allowed me to download the genesis version ..and at 4.41 when i played this not ducking under that rock caused me instant death..so i think he cheated..that's probably the only "mistake" he made otherwise i wouldn't have been non the wiser...

Look at the first video of this two parter. There are oodles of times when the enemies touch but to no avail (poor baddies!). I mean, if you're gonna cheat at least make it convincing. This is just blatant, I'm afraid.
