The Nic Cage Remake and basically he is a cop and this chick who nic cage was married to who disappeared like 6 years ago suddenly shows up and tells him hey we have a daughter and she is in trouble. So they go to this Island where she is staying  and as the movie goes on nic cage has to hide from the townspeople and rescue his daughter and he got into the bear costume to basically lay low and get his daughter. Nic cage was the bear. Hope I helped.

I also prefer theirs to ours (I'm American). More subtle and psychological. Gore turns me off and I resent the tension those horror films that consist of someone jumping out with a weapon, create. It's a lot more artistic and effective to create psychological tension or horror, in my opinion. I love the Hammer films too - campy and fun.

No offense to america but your horrors consist of bloodbath predictable gorefests. the good american horrors are dark comedy/horrors like the devils rejects. i like asian horrors as well, you get a blend of psychological with a dash of toecurling gore. for me the best horrors are films that arent set out to be horrors like donny darko, or requiem for a dream.
