But they were scattered, separate entities trying to find a unique sound. It is now. My comment was to highlight that the quiet one, Paz the bass player would be behind a very beautiful and mind-bending video. My poorly used word ' senseless' was a reaction to...where is in NOW? ...not then.

There is something in her voice that is related to Jarboe (ex-Swans) who was used as additional backing vocals on some of the tracks from The Thirteenth step. And I don't claim that to be a negative statement because Jarboe is a stunning vocalist. Paz is more distanced in some way...still I think sheä's doing a great job on this song..and as DreadedEd said: she's an awesome instrumentalist. !!! (not to mention her way of setting up her hair in the Judith Video. Very sexy :-) )

Paz is usually musically active, after Mer De Noms, Maynard went back to Tool for the Lateralus tour, leaving APC on hiatus. She then worked on a bit of solo work I think, but joined the defunct Billy Corgan Band "Zwan" which I think she was currently in when APC got back into gear, leaving her out of the picture. She did return for work on Emotion and sings on the live version of Puscifer's "Cuntry Boner" song. Since APC is on life support at best, she is still close to Keenan these days.
