Im supposed to be filming stirling university freshers week next week and this is the style I'd be going for. I just bought the canon 550d recently....what settings did you use to achieve this?
you are right about the bright thing originally cuz the display on the canon camera doesnt actually give you the true exposure.. my videos are mostly brighter too i just bought it 5 days ago put up two videos as test nothing special just basic
I can wholeheartedly recommend the F/1.2 50mm Nikon with a Nikon to Canon adapter, it's really great for low-light. The 550D has pretty much the exact same video functions as 5D mark 2, but 5D does have a little better noise performance at high ISO's.
