  • been thinking about this for weeks now, dreaming about this... found it today and cried... brought back some very intense memories of a time I'll never have again, thank you

  • @volumetricpipet I can inform you, that you are not the only one :)... Daoc was introduced to me by a dear friend. It was my first mmo, and a huge step up in gaming for me... I played alot of counter-strike before that, and thought the "Clan-feeling" was the most ultimate in gaming. But after encountering daoc, the way you should step up to get inside a guild. It was absolute. I was not a hardcore daoc player, but it raised me in the genre. A game alike will never come.... /sad

  • @TheLedesvin No game since has captured my heart and sense of family. I am one of the millions playing WoW, but it is only a replacement, and a semi-decent one at that. People look at DAoC pics posted around the net and complain about the graphics, but graphics do not make a game. No game has captured the feel of RvR quite like DAoC. I remember the first time I was in a keep when it was attacked, it was a thrill I won't forget. The music haunts me. And friendships still endure. <3

  • I actually got a little choked up listening to this... My fondest memories were in this game, I dont think anyone outside the gaming world will ever understand the family-type bonds that were formed, sticking up for one another not just in game but in forums. I have played every major MMO, NO community matches to this one. I miss you DAoC, I wish you never died... its like losing an extremely close family member...

  • Hey so I see all the small clips of the ambience music, do I just put them together in order and that will make like a whole "song" right?

  • @ZIdar25 Actually, there was like 2900 pieces that i gathered. Each ambient mix doesn't depend on another one, but in each mix you can have like 3 or 4 different ambient themes.

  • oh and especially check the LT01, LT02, LT03 files, these are the ambient music files.

  • Hey, can you tell me where you got this exactly? I'm trying to get all the ambient music.

  • @Mordimier Go to Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\Sounds

All sounds are in this folder, just search to find the complete pieces because there are all splitted up

  • @Junkickx for some reason i don't have a dark age of camelot folder, on labrynth under EA games. i have a mythic folder but that is in the C drive. there is isles, atlantis and darkness but isles is the one other one with the sound folder. the sounds are just random sounds made by magic and enemies, no music in there at all.

  • @Mordimier @Mordimier i'm not sure i got the fully installed version of daoc so maybe that atlantis musics aren't in my folders. You should do a *Search* of all "audio" files into your mythic folder, and copy all the sounds you found, check out all the files and delete them if these are only sounds, you'll find the tracks for sure like that, there are 90% of effect sounds so it's not a surprise if you didn't find any song in.

  • @Junkickx If i am unable to find these, could you post the other ambient songs? atlantis especially would be great.

  • Thank you, I was looking for this, have not heard it in like 7 years.

  • You must install Dark Age of Camelot and you can find those music in some folder.

  • Hey where did you find this music, I want more!!!

  • So amazing.
