  • This sounds great

  • Congo would be where? Right Africa,so you're getting my point. Afro-Haitian is a redundant term. If you are American in Congo or W.Africa, or Asia. You're still American!!!

  • Greetings Michael, not trying to knitpick but its redundant to say "Afro-Haitian" rhythms. Any vodu rhythms coming out of Haiti are W.Africa by nature (Dahomey, Yoruba, Ibo, Mandigo, etc.) If you're going to teach my people's culture, I would figure you should know more about it.

  • @Khephri Not all the vodou rhythms from Haiti are from W.Africa... don't forget the congo's rhythms too and the petro rhythm who was created in haiti with the influence of the congo slaves

  • I first learned this from my teacher and his wife. His wife is Haitian. This is what they called it. This is also what it is being called by all the other teachers teaching it from Haiti.

  • very inpirational!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi Michael. This is very similar to what we learned in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Nice job!
