could somebody share to me the lyrics?ive been searching on internet but couldnt find it! thanks and regards from Central America really good nigerian song!
Those of you who do not know Lagos will continue to miss what a real Party looks like. I have attended many parties in Lagos from the seventies to date but I bet you, there is no party anywhere int he world like Lagos Party. I have lived in th UK and the USA, but never underestimate Lagosians when it comes to having good time. Afterall what is life, it is short and unpridictable. /You can say anything you like but Lagos is Lagos.
Excuse me what’s with this argument about western influence in this video ??? The last time I checked there are over 40 different languages in Nigeria so if an artist decides to sing in English to get to a larger audience is that a western influence??? Haven’t still found “ju idi le” in an English dictionary, and BTW what language does our president address the nation with??? About the videos, is drinking Moet n wearing Ray Bans western influence??? Oh pushing Lexses? We love all the best things
The whole world influences all types of music ke! Remember that most of these 9ja music stars were educated and lived in America and Britain, giving them the opportunity to explore and better their talents...what's wrong with that?
and yes, am very proud to be a nigerian born in the uk lol! its something those who dont know who we are dont quite get, we TRAVEL we roam the WORLD .. we are not afraid of moving out of our territory BUT WE ALWAYS FIND OUR WAY HOME .. thats the secret... lol!
i was born and raised in America & i always brag about being Nigerian whenever the subject is brought up. but if this type of stuff continues our music wont be so special. :/
@relaxitzjustkrystal no i beg to differ, its done with a naija twist, i like it normally am quite disparaging about those lazy artists who churn out bad copies of jay z and lil wayne, we dont need to be doing that, what we can bring to the table is unique, we bring our unique and so special individual cultures to the table.. there are young upcoming artists who rap but there is no N WORD no H WORD in sight, we dont need to be doing this its not who we are here.. no harm in this fun vid though.
@SuperQueenofAfrica yeah in this particular vid they don't use that word but other famous naija artist are. but my point is they need to stop being influenced by americans. the little things i spot now would are barely noticable but they will spread till there is no differentiation between american and nigerian music
@relaxitzjustkrystal i dont want that, we are nigerians , unique, passionate and quarrelsome people in otherwords WE DONT TAKE SHIT , from ANYONE , including rude americans who take liberty for licence and expect we will sit back and take it like ghanaians who are quieter and dont give it back with interest!. yes, we need to be OURSELVES . its our STRENGTH.. and the reason why we are hated by those who dont have the ability to live without FEAR.
i had had enough of these videos of party scenes, but this one is just tooooo phresh.. im South African and we always hear not so pleasant things about Lagos, but after this i think i shud find my way to Naija and experience a Lagos party atleast once in my lifetym
i heard that this is exactly what they do in nigeria , then after the party u getting kiddnapped and they will demand 10 million nairas....nigerianz very crooky..
you bring out the best of Africa, am in SA but you surly are holding it up there for me man. please teach our boys to do things like you or me going for the taken.lol
there are plenty of us born abroad we are citizens of the countries we are born in and we are still PROUDLY NIGERIANS .. for those who are ashamed of who they are well and good, for the rest of us.. EKO O NI BAJE O! ... naija FOR LIFE!!
anyone who says hes tryin to act american is obviously not nigerian and knows nuthin bout naijas. A lot of americans are pop this song, i consider, is hip hop hip hop started in america because black ppl took things of the african culture and changed some stuff and called it hip hop or rap. Just cuz Banky w is rappin doesnt mean he is tryin to b american. rapping is a universal thing. soo all haters out there can get over it. :))
while americans are glorifying the gangsta , pimp , hoe culture, and rapping endlessly about crime, prison, and low life styles , africans take it to another level.. not all of them mind you , but those who take it to another level elevate this rapping thing to an art that no only entertains but educates and whatsmore they rep where they come from language, culture and all.
it represents where we come from , and fyi since when did drinking champagne become a sole national sport of americans here? again, the idea is that africans are "kunte kinte" type hottentots with plate lips and fly bellys.. , the miseducation of the american is complete. this video is not copying anybody we do not "copy" we improve .. go and watch "black and yellow " by naija boyz to see why ...
I love nigerian music but the way ya bash americans(which I am) is kind of rude even tho I cant lie there are alot of big headed people up here and sluts and hoes. But the people who say ya are copying us are wrong, I like your style. Hope to visted there one day in my life.
@fisherwomen1515 nobody is hating on you but yes , a lot of your american compatriots are rude, loud mouthed , nasty and run to youtube to complain whenever we kick their insults back at them, heck some even post nasty insults REMOVE THEM , and when we post them back up for all to see go and report to youtube claiming that they never posted their crap forgetting that it can still be reported ! i have just done that one one nasty specimen who tried that trick to just down my channel lol!
there is no "nugga nikka nigga, bitch hoe, " on this video so anyone moaning that they are copying americans is an idiot. this is about lagos party and we know how to paaaartay , americans did not invent how to party its ridiculous the next thing they will be saying that "2face idibia" got his name from "2pac" because they invented the number "2" i actually saw a post were an idiot was claiming such nonsense..
he is an american born ngerian...thats why its looks like he his trying to blend the two different cultures..and you americans running ur mouth like tap water...ur not the only one making this kind of music videos.....why dont u go an english video to complain assholes.
@Mofola1 they still coming on here to spew their jealousy and hater kool aid? na dem sabi , who gives a damn they are lost thats why they come on here to cry and vent , we just ignore them, they can kiss our ass..
@Caligeriangrl Im confused..So if u have a party with drinks and girls in ur video that means ur copying america..Last time i checked the hole WORLD not just america have parties with girls and drinks and drive flashy cars....Dont b a fool.
@Caligeriangrl shut the fuck up with that ur over-ignorance rhetoric that just makes u looks like a fisher-man.You got that "negative energy that ain't different from witchcraft. I love Banky cos is probably the only Naijan doing it really "big" right now both in the US and down there in Naijan arenas;so what u got to say about him,hater? You made me wanna pull the bat on u right way.Calm your ass down and keep ur shits to urself cos it just doesn't count but bugging....;
@Caligeriangrl we have different genres of music and different types of musicans who represent those genres, complexities that cannot be fully explained and understood because you can only know what you are shown and its extremely limited.. Fela represents "afro pop" a fusion of african beats and jazz type rhythums , because of the likes of jay z he is now coming to the attention of american blacks but well before that he was extremely popular with a hard core cult following in the usa.
yes, you do have the freedom of speech but we do also and i notice that when you point certain things out to americans they get all upset and start catawauling and calling us "racist" lol! nobody is calling you "white " which is more than americans do to us when we point certain things out about them, am not saying that there is no homage to the "p diddy , pop that bottle " type video popular in the late 90's , but this vid is unique to africa , unique to nigeria, unique to our way of life.
@Caligeriangrl Abeg guy go trowa for gutter....Or even better go hug transfomer.

If u dont like the music dont watch or bring all that copying BS argument...So what do what in the video. Some naked people swinging on trees drinking water from a gutter?.... All over the world people pop bottles and have parties in big mansion so i have no ideo what ur talking about. ODE

And to all you bloggers, Its normal for a looser to blabbb. My word 4 u hâters is to go get a grip on life. Nigeria was, is & would always be dt Giant Of Africa!!! Niger for life••**••
@NicKingPapiChulo lol he sort of is..he was born in the States and grew up in Nigeria did his high school there and went to New york for his university...:)
@MrConEwax He is not trying to ba american...He added nija slangs in his song and he wore a african dress and he was not singing about selling drugs, gangs and murders and dissing girls...PLs u americans should fuck off.U think every one wants to b like u..If u dont like it dont watch....We are nigerians and proud.Bring the hate comments...When people hate on u it means ur doing something right..abeg go hug transformer and chop bomb..FOOL.
@MrConEwax this isnt a Fake American RnB Fail , if u knew a little abt his history , u wuld knoee tht he was born in th U.S , nd he went to college here in th U.S , so he's musically influenced by America . . . he jst stayed true to nigeria nd stayed there to . my tone is calm sir but really , get ur facts straight before u try to insult . . . his music is lyk a mixed breed , American nd Nigerian all in one : DDD
@GeniusMusikk dont mind them .. they are very insular and dont know that there are africans born in the usa and other parts of the world who are very connected to their culture.. they think its all about them in the usa nothing else hence the carping and hissy fits.. lol!

GeniusMusikk 11 months ago
@GeniusMusikk dont mind them .. they are very insular and dont know that there are africans born in the usa and other parts of the world who are very connected to their culture.. they think its all about them in the usa nothing else hence the carping and hissy fits.. lol!
