Nice job doing it, but you might put too much pressure on the rear. I have an ASV 50 horsepower with rubber tracks. They are good machines for cleaning snow.
Not trying to be a know it all but keep all 4 wheels on the ground. Driving like that is a good way to snap the rear axle. Dont run it in rabbit (high gear) either while youre plowing or hauling cause that'll tear your gears apart in short time. rabbit is only for getting somewhere else faster not pushing the snow faster. You do a nice efficient job though. Your confidence shows in your driving
@lucky644 we had the t320 before we got the T870. the T320 doesnt even come close to the T870. the T870 can lift so much higher. we had a down tree probally about 35 feet tall and it had to be ran out to out burn pile..i said to hell with cutting the tree up and threw the claw on the T870 and it just manhandled the tree. it rips whole stumps out of the ground like nothing. it was expensive but it was all worth it. its fun as hell with the forestry head on!
we hve the T870 2 speed.....MONSTER!! comfortable, very quick, versatile, reliable, and gets the job done. just got it over summer and cant wait to see what it does for us this winter.
Really great video! I work for my uncle running a Deere 320 skidsteer, but the only thing is that the hydraulics seem very slow. Do you guys have hand controls or the standard Bobcat controls?
@ryan162 Absolutely, its far too dangerous to go that fast, but we know our lots very well, and only use speed where it is safe to do so. Always wear the full 3 point seatbelt :)
@eureka800 Tracks work terrible in the snow, I should know, we have two of them.
Wheels > tracks for snow plowing. You can't get traction with tracks, sure you can float on the snow but thats worthless when you're plowing down to the icy pavement.
Maybe if you could stud them......but that would destroy the tracks after a season.
That's a 2 speed? Hi and low range? Are you in high range in this video? It looks like it's moving fast. I run a Bobcat in the winter but it;s so dang slow!
@lucky644 I'm using a S185 for plowing. It's a nice unit but it's so slow! Looks like the 2 speed is the way to go. Yours looks fast compared to the one I use. Nice big bucket too
nice

@11MRKARL We have two track machines and found them to be almost worthless in most snow conditions for this area.
They sit idle almost all winter, they're only usable on a couple of very flat lots, which is unfortunate.

Nice looking fast machine! You should maybe get a snow pusher for that

@thebengalsfan11 That is a monster machine. I've never even seen one yet.
Biggest we have are the S650 and T320..

dont raise the front wheels so high with the bucket, ur wearing out the back tires

Good job man. What do you charge?
syprix 4 months ago
@syprix ~$90/h depending on the machine, we no longer own this S205.

@315DL We sold that machine, bought a S650, it had standard controls though, new machine has both. Hydraulics were normal bobcat speed, pretty fast.

All you amateurs with the front tires off the ground. If you keep them down you get twice the traction.
MrPolarscapes 11 months ago
you should get a snow bucket so you dont have as much spill over they work great!

@mybassstaypunchin We have a couple, just wasn't on that day.

@lucky644 I don't know what i was thinking when I posted that, it is a snow bucket that is on there. 84" I think.

@lucky644 you could put salt on the ice after plowing the snow

@RedDirtRules Yes, high and low, this was in high speed. It's about 16kmph top speed I think, obviously slower pushing snow.
