Old,Bitter hags? Looks like a lot of Vietnam vets there as well, and did I notice some Gulf War vets? Considering that this building was built and is maintained at taxpayers expense, why would these people be trespassing? Do we really need a permit to protest our governments actions? Are we sheep or people? With long experience I see we still have much to learn. We are a great country, now lets act like it!
Do you notice that the people involved are not teens or college aged people? This is not like the protests of the 1960s. These are older people who have heard the rhetoric before and are angry that our country is making the same mistakes again.

Yes, most of the protesters are old, bitter hags in Code Pink that are leftovers from Vietnam protests. The irony is striking. They were allowed to protest, sing their anti-government songs (despite trespassing and not having a permit for a public gathering). The difference between you and I is that I look at this country as one of the greatest on earth while you view it in the most negative light possible.
I watch this video, and realize how great America is! There are really few places in the world where a group of people could do their political protest while the police are waiting for them to finish. The older women were struggling with the police officers, and technically could have been man-handled, but were not. Kudos goes to the capital police, and to the protesters for being willing to be arrested to view their beliefs.
Dude, I'd say the majority of places on Earth allow peaceful protest, and are far more just in their treatment of protesters than the American government. England and America are only a couple of steps up from Saddam-era Iraq in terms of personal freedoms, and every other free nation looks at our governments' policies towards protest and rolls their eyes at our immaturity.
You must be very naive or just plain nuts. Why don't you go try protesting in China or North Korea IN a government building and see if the state police wait until you complete your protest message before politely arresting you. Let us all know how that works out for you. I doubt we'll hear from you again so maybe your family can let us know when the Chinese charge them .15 for the bullet they use to execute you. You're nuts.
And you're lazy. Two nations? That's the best you can do? OK, in that case, congratulations America! Congratulations on being slightly less oppressive than China and North Korea.
You just keep towing the line there maniac, I'd hate to see you in one of your American internment camps as a "potential enemy combatant".
You libs have no other alternative other than to camp out in front of Pelosi's home 24/7 until Bush is impeached, or until the end of his term. I'd like you to scream at her regardless of the hour. She deserves it. Good luck.
so nice to see the kids getting involved in politics. too bad the elite government in this country is worse than ever... dems and repubs are essentially the same... save the system.... now apparently, protesting is illegal...
Almost makes you yearn for the days of yesteryear when cops would break up protests with billy clubs. Come one, who wouldnt want to see one of those code pink psychos get clubbed like a baby seal?
end police, end all of the police. kill the pigs, free the people

Too bad the Liberal Media won't show it on TV, eh?
(Oh.. I know there's no such thing as a "liberal media" - it's just a snarky poke at the wingnuts here.
