there doesnt seem to be a 4th video so Im assuming you stopped posting after this one.
Im not sure what this video is suppose to accomplish. This video is not suitable for hearing, practicing speech, or speaking aloud.
Its just loud music in the background. I know negative comments on youtube arent met well (I mean why would they) but Its hard to be "critical" when I see something so...obliviously...wrong.
I am a teacher in South korea...so maybe thats why Im so critical.
@sexyboi142 there's two ways to count in korean, one is what you said. The other is 1-il 2-ee 3-sam 4-sa 5-oh 6- yook 7-ch'il (pronounced cheel) 8-p'al (pronounced like p'all) 9-ku 10-sip (pronounced like ship)
@sexyboi142 there are two number systems, Korean and Sino-Korean which is more Chinese inspired... you have to know both, especially when telling the time because the hour number is said in Korean and the minute number is said in Sino-Korean
@sexyboi142 lol thats another way you can cout to ten it depends when or how you say it in a sentence. Example: i only have two of these! -> this would use "dukhe(dool)" or dial two -> would use "e"
cho a yo! - i like u po go ship o yo - i want 2 see u po go shipta - imizu shir o - i dont like kwaen chanayo - its alright anyonghi kyaseyo - if im leaving mian hada - im sorry choi zong haeyo - 4giv me chalmot haesoyo - my 4lt kamsahamnida - thankyou Chal jayo - gnyt chuk a he - congratz chin cha - really?
chongmal - really/very/truly cham ka man yo - just a sec. kumanhae - stop thats enough ppaliwa = come back soon nongdam - joke! ye - yes Matta - right / correct ku rom - ofcourse Mullon - ofcourse! / sure. cho a - ok fine arasso - ok i got it majayo - it is corect/ you r corect A ni o - no kyesokhae - lets continue Aniya - its not that/ its nothing choltae an dwae yo -ofcourse not Mollayo - i dont know
@laurajiayi they have 2 different number systems. Il ee sam sa for mathmatical problems, and hana dul set for actually counting things like Time, counting objects and saying your age
hey namafoot what type of chinese is that? i do manderin n cantonese. 一 yi ya 二 er yi 三 san sam 四 si sei 五 wu (idk canto on this one i mostly speak) 六 liu lou 七 qi qi 八 ba ba 九 jie gou 十 shi sam
I learned to count to ten in Korean because my old TaeKwonDo instructor, a native of Korea, counted cadence in Korean. He actually complimented me on my imitation of the Korean terms I heard over and over again, though I never learned to write them (low block, high block, middle punch, front kick, side kick, etc etc). But that was long, long ago.
Make some more videos, Jimin! Romanized phrases would be helpufl.
She counts in Sino-Korean. Not native Korean. Native Korean: 2 - dul 3 - set 4 - net 5 - daseot 6 - yeoseot 7 - il gop 8 - yeodeol 9 - ahop 10 - yeol Sure, the number songs that she sings in involves Sino-Korean numbers, which are definitely used in Korean, but Native Korean numbers are more common; you'll hear more Native than Sino.
@KitKatman2008 ouh thanks for the info. no wonder i find the words used very different. cos when i watch korean variety shows, they often say "hana dul set " when playing games.
i completely agree. Native Korean doesnt have words for big numbers like 1000 or 10000. Instead they borrow words from the Chinese. Same goes for the hours of the day, days of the week, and months of the year.
Sorry, let me rephrase the point I was trying to make:
The standard form of ACTUAL counting in Korean is Native, not Sino. You will almost never hear Sino-Korean when you see little Korean kids counting small numbers.
AAaahhh!!! I want to learn Korean (Hangul) sssoooo badly.... huhuhhu...... I'm a BIG Korean movie fan and it is sooo frustrating to know new and nice korean movies but don't have any subs... :(
@ramuj20 have u finally learn some then?some of my friends say korean is diff frm english because d way of how their verb and adjectives are arranged. but it'd b easy if u get how it works. best luck lolx
I'm still on the characters, letters, etc... Not yet in forming sentences.... I guess I need some professional help on that one... I can't even understand what I'm writing... hehehehe.....
@ramuj20 Hangul is actually pretty easy to learn. you can find sites all over the internet. I learned pretty quick. Now I'm just trying to learn the language. haha
@yrohnchica just say.. 보고 싶어.. Bogo Shipo.. or to be more polite.. 보고 싶어요. 보고 means to see. from word 보는 to see 싶어.. means wanting. 싶다.. 싶습.. So saying I miss you in Korean.. is basically saying. I wan't to see you.. using the word 싶어 in Korean is a different level of expressing your wants. When you say you like food you literally say.. food good.. or 식품 촣아 Shik-p'um Cho-a or 식품 좋아요.. Shik-p'um Cho-a-yo or 식품 좋습니다.. Shik-p'um Chosumnida. 식품 = food package with drinks 좋 = good
@yrohnchica any way.. the word delicious in Korean.. literally means "There is flavor" 맛 = Mat = flavor 있 = Ee(silent s if its alone) = indicating intance 있 = Ees (if followed by 자모(block) "어" 맛있어 = becomes Mashi-soh.. literally saying 맛 = mat(flavor) 있 = Ee(indication of existence) 있어 = Isso 있어요 = Issoyo 있습디다 = Issumnida are the three levels of saying There is depending on whom you are talking to. the last part is usually used for respectable people. like elders
@yrohnchica Asking if it is delicious. Informal to a friend : 이게 맛있어? Informal to someone older : 이게 맛있어요? Formal to someone to respect(elderly) : 이게 맛있습니까? Asking what is the most expensive Normal. 여기(here) 가장 비싼 뭐에요? 여기 비싼 가격 뭐에요?. 가격 means price or rate. Polite. 여기(here) 가장 비싼 뭐습니까? 여기 비싼 가격 뭐습니까? Ask a Korean for better results
yep speaking in korean might be quite hard for beginner but writing should not be problem because i find it was quite easy : ) just my 2cent no offence.
u teach people how to speak korean or u teach people how to sing

@111i1011 hi! what is the english translation of "이것들의 맛은 어떻습니까?" "무엇이 제일 비쌉니까?".. tnx much!
yrohnchica 1 year ago
@yrohnchica
first one.. 이거들의 맛은 어떻습니까?? . hmm this is asking about the taste.
but i prefer this.. 이게 맛있어요?? or simply asking 맛있어요?? (is it delicious?)
thats easier...
무엇이 제일 삐삽니까?? 비싸 means expensive.
제일 means the most.. 무엇 or 뭐 or 무엇이 means what is or what..
this is better.. 가장 비싼 뭐에요? 비싸 means expensive.. adding ㄴ
is like. hmm.. i dunno hahaha.. 가장 is like 제일.. i like using 가장 more..
111i1011 1 year ago
@111i1011 thank you so much! now i know...how about the word " i miss you"
yrohnchica 1 year ago
111i1011 1 year ago
@yrohnchica
싶어 is used to express a deeper want.. like..
for example.. I really want to go to Seoul.
서울 가고 진짜 싶어요.. Seoul kago jinjja shipoyo.
서울 = Seoul.. 가고 = to go from word 가요(go).. 진짜(really) 싶어요(want)
But if you wan't to say you just like Seoul..
서울시는 좋아.. i added 시..
시 (shi) is understood as city if it is written after a name of a place
like 부산 Busan.. 부산시.. Busan City.. its a shortcut.
도시 (toshi) = City..
111i1011 1 year ago
@yrohnchica
here we add 에.. eh.. is used to point a place or something..
서울에 .. Seoul-eh.. means.. In Seoul..
So this sentence here.. 서울에 살고 싶어요.
살고 = to live
싶어요 = want
and guess what? yes it means I wan't to live in Seoul
서울에 살고 싶어요.. Seoul-eh.. Salgo shipoyo.
the intonation is at (eh).. (sal). its rising in there.
Seoul(eh).. (Sal)go.. Shipoyo
111i1011 1 year ago

@yrohnchica
Korean sentence that don't end in yo.. are sentences that are.. uhm
very conversational.. like.. its just your classmate..
Korean sentences that end in yo.. are usually sentences talking to
a not so close friend.. or not so old stranger..
Korean sentences that end in imnida.. nida.. are highly polite
widely used for ending sentences in News reports. and addressing
respectable people.. e.g president.. king.. or grandparents..
111i1011 1 year ago
@yrohnchica
What Korean are you interested? the Korean spoken in South Korea?
or Korean spoken in North Korea?
there are differences in vocabs.. accent.. intonation and sometimes
even words and spellings.. North Korean is an old Korean
South Korean Seoul Standard is a modern Korean..
North Korea retains its traditional words that is not being used already
or its obsolete in S.Korea..
Im studying both.. =))

@111i1011 omg plz teach me korean i wanna no south korean aka hangul
zully4lyf 1 year ago
@zully4lyf
한 Han.. represents the Korean people who are in South
글 Geul.. means writing
한글 means Korean writing.. not Korean language
Korea in Korean is 한국. Han guuk.. 국 guuk .. means nation so its nation of Han
There are many ways to say Korean language in Korean
조선 Joson (Korea also) 어 Oh (language) 조선어 = Korean language
조선말. Joson-mal. 말 Mal (Speech) 조선말 = Is also Korean language
This is in North Korea
in South Korea.. 한국어 and 한국말 are the ones accepted.
111i1011 1 year ago
@zully4lyf
In North Korea.. the writing is called 조선글. Joson-geul
in South Korea.. the writing is called. 한국글 or 한글 Hangeul which is more proper
조선글. is different from S.Korean 한글. in terms of arrangement
consonant terms.. and spelling.. usually .조선글 spells everything
for example.. in 조선글 word for woman = 녀자. Nyoh dza
in 한글 word for woman = 여자.. Yoh Jah
there is also difference in pronounciation
111i1011 1 year ago
111i1011 1 year ago

hahaha.. i think there is a part there that i type.. 삐삽니까..
