  • What made you suspect that he had wobbles?? Like what made you call the vet and run the tests for wobbles?

  • @Heyjoelle I've been told that the surgery is rather expensive. how much is it roughly?

  • I actually did a report on wobblers and used Dr. Grant as my number one resource! Heck, all the information i put in my report was from Dr. Grant's website!

  • i wouldnt even suspect this horse to have wobblers :D The surgery did the trick it seems.

  • could you explain how to estimate the degree of damage using these tests?

  • I am looking at a horse who might have wobblers. But I was wondering why he was rated a 1? and not a 0. Thank you much:)

  • can you explain what is meant by crossing the front legs test - thank you

  • @hixies5

If the horse holds the legs in a crossed position it indicates that he doesn't feel that his legs are not where they are supposed to be. Wheeler was a grade 1 - 2 in this video, had he kept his legs crossed, he would have been graded a 2 - 3.

  • It's very interesting, I have a stalling of 4 years old who has the same problem.

I's really horrible to deal with...

  • My horse has Wobblers ... we're getting ready to do the myelogram ... this is a horrible problem for a horse to have ... glad yours is recovering well!!!

  • Is wheeler still ridable?

  • i have a yearling he falling down and seriously hurt his back and after this sad day he have a wobbler syndrome. He will probably die soon :(

  • what was he graded pre-surgery?
