The tea party just showed up so they had to stay on the sidewalk. There was a police line separating the two sides. What this video clearly shows is that the tea partier had crossed the line what it doesn't show is the police coming and putting him back on his side. Asking if one has kids is not racist and is relevant at a rally that supports teachers.
I've actually had the experience of working in a government IT contracting environment for almost 5 years, working alongside with SEIU county workers. These people hate private sector workers, and always saw me as "taking away their jobs" despite outperforming them while earning less in net salary+benefits. Also they will do everything to undermine your project just because you work for the private sector. I WILL see the day when these losers are homeless due to state bankruptcy.
Why should these teachers enjoy all the comforts of an easy government job, do they even pay attention to the embarassingly awful state of education in our country? Your mom is most likely one of the rarities that I and many others met while in these worthless schools. Your mom is most likely one of the rarities that I and many others met while in these worthless schools. There are a few teachers that actually care about teaching, but they're choked out by all the welfare recipients around them (aka. babysitters who are supposed to be teachers).
