@CammyLi On television,people speak Ukrainian,because it is the state language.In the west,central and northern residents speak Ukrainian,on the east and south-in Russian.But all understand each other because russian and ukranian similar like scandinavian languages,for example,Norwegian and Swedish.Alex taken part in the show "Let's dance",he understood that the participants and audience say. But people from Russia don't understand the Ukrainian.It's hard for them and for Alex especially.
